The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

from 6th semester onwards student are avalable to campus placement and approx 90% students are got placed. companies like wipro , infosis, cisco, microsoft, dell are avalable during campus placement. average pakage is approx 6lpa and if we talk about highest its 1.11cr this year. more than 90% students are placed . my plans are to get good placement.

For 6 semesters I will be eligible for placements. I haven't yet visited any of the companies and no offers are made. There is a 1 per cent chance of students to be placed for higher packages like 1 cr but most companies are giving 8 to 10 lakhs

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good. Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc. come here for interviews and many students got placed. Students are eligible after 3 year for placements. Average package is around 4LPA and highest package is maybe 35LPA. Maximum students gets placed . If I don't get placed then I will maintain my profile on linked apps so my job hunting will be easy.

Best University ever

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There is a number of companies that visit and there is a number of offers made by each and every company. The percentage of students getting placements is 95%.

In our college placement are the most important factor . Our college have an average placement of 8 lacs and on campus maximum placement of 44 lacs which our pretty much good . 1 week ago our fourth year student got 1.11 cr which is much high . From 5th semester onwards students are available for internships in which more than 85% students are selected. From 7th semester students are eligible for placements .more than 90% students got placed from campus every year . There are more than 500+ blue chip recruiters visits every year in campus like google , Amazon, inforsis , wipro , oyo , Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Dell, hp ,and much more . They have strong international collaborations . More than 3000+ offers are made every year . More than 90% students are got placed every year which is good . Many students are getting placed in international companies . I have to go for mtech after btech . So for that I am preparing for gate so that I got I got a iit for that .

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very helpful and caring. The companies which come here to take interviews are very good. 7.5 LPA average package in cse batch. Almost 95% of students get placed. Lowest 3.5 LPA package. Chitkara has a dedicated placement cell which ensures every student's placement in a good company. Almost students get internships from the 6th semester itself. Rest of them got placed before last semester

When does Placement start: Placement starts from the 6th semester and continues until you get placed. Some Companies and no. of offer Made: Razorpay(6 Selected), Juspay(4), Hike(3), Amazon, Vmware, OYO, Gojek, careerfour, xperi, josh, yugabyte. Highest Package: 25LPA for my year currently. 33LPA All time highest. Average: 8LPA. Percentage of Students getting placements: 100%. My plans after getting the degree: Exploring the IT field and improving myself as a person and building a habit of learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is 3 sectional test in which the best of two are considered and 3 fa's before every St and best two are considered and finally there is the end term. There is 60 percent weightage of end-term and 40 percent of St and fa.

The internship season starts from the 6 sem and a lot of companies visit the campus the average package of the college is around 10LPA and 80% of the students get placed before 4 year of my course,Even i woulfd suggest you that.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
