The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

My experience at chitkara university

Likes

Extra curricular, academics, campus, faculty

Dislikes

Restrictions, not being able to bring outside food inside the campus

Placement Experience:

The university provides 100 percent placement and the packages are good wether it is bachelors in technology in computer science engineering, bachelors in business administration in Finance technology, any sort of B.Des course etc.

We have strong program which helps us to learn Many new things
Campus is beautiful , diverse students body
We have many activities , variety of sports and Gym

Dislikes

I don't like the average lpa however it does not depends on college
Hostel fees is too much in comparison of other colleges
Our class timings or kinda weird we don't get enough time for self study

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for campus placement in 5th sem in 5 sem we usually get internship and after internship it depends on the students if he did good or not and get hired permanently tcs , lakia and many more . There is 90% placement . I plan to go for further studies like post graduation

Likes

Environment and studies are very good and teachers also
Placements are excellent , classrooms are fully ac
College is filled with greenary, food options are nice

Dislikes

College is not that big enough , very strict in terms of discipline
Hostel mess food is not always very good
Library is not big enough to fit alot of students

The placements in chitkara University Punjab is super nice it's like a 10/10 . The college is fully immersed in providing you placements and even garantee 100% placements which is true . College tries their level best to provide placements. The package offered by companies is very nice and alot of people are satisfied with their placement.

Thriving in campus life

Likes

Campus is good, teachers are helpful and kind
Good enviornment, no bullying and ragging
Placements are also good as my seniors have been placed now with good package

Dislikes

Strictness as they are very strict in terms of going out
You can't go out frequently as it is on highway and nothing is nearby
Hostels are good but its just you will get bored

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students become eligible for placements amazon, infosys, apollo hospital, capgemini, cybage,wipro, hitachi, itc infotech, newgwn and a lot more these companies made a lot of offers and you should know dsa to get selected highest package is 20 lakh in non-tech and average 10-12 lakh 90% students get placed getting a job is main priority after getting degree

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
