The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Infrastructure of chitkara University is good
Good placement of students in chitkara University
Entrepreneur hub are also there to explore

Dislikes

Attendence criteria is here so you have to maintain it else you will be detained
Number of students in the campus is increasing so there is a huge rush
Very much restrictions here so you have to follow it very seriously

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem students can apply for job Around 200+ different companies visit the campus Highest = 35.5 lakh on campus 1.1 cr of campus 96% students get placed here My plans after getting degree is to have a job of data scientist

Things I liked in chitkara are infrastructure. It's very good. Buildings are very well built
Second thing is opportunity. There are many opportunities in college for coding , sports etc
Third thing I like is placement opportunities. Many companies visited chitkara for the ppos and placement offers

Dislikes

Mess food is very bad. Quality is worst.
Attendance criteria I didn't like in the university
Exams will appear after a short span of time

Placement Experience:

From the end of 5th semester companies started coming in University Infosys, tata, many offers were made by the companies Highest package was last year it was an international offer which is of 1.1 crore and lowest package is 6LPA Good percentage of placements Getting a good job

Its infrastructure is very good which fascinated me
The study environment is very good. Good minds colla
Placements are very good. One of the main reason to choose chitkara was because of its placements

Dislikes

Small campus, Area is quite very small here
Attendance to be maintained else you will be detained
Strict teachers here so you have to focus on their subjects as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

They are very much focused on what to teach There are many events take place here regularly They are good in what they are teaching but the class timings must be 50 minutes max instead of 1:30 hr The difficulty level is Ok but their frequency is too high

Great infrastructure and good to roam around and have fun
Staff is friendly whenever required with any problem
Classrooms are well constructed with air conditioner available

Dislikes

The gate pass system I don’t like which make looks like we’re in school

The companies that are the within college itself or the company The projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks are the task that given by the company itself to ensure skill and performance on the persons credibility

Affordable University with great infrastructure and curriculum

Likes

Infrastructure is very good it's modern.
Fully air-conditioned campus with airy classrooms
Own transport facilities for the students coming from far away

Dislikes

Uniform system only drawback is that we have to wear uniform in the campus.
Day scholars are not invited to the dj nights only hostelers are allowed
Students are not allowed to leave the campus before 3:30 pm

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet good. Almost all students get placed on campus. AVG salary they got is 7 lakh per annum. My plan after completing this degree is to get enrolled for higher studies like MBA or ME..

The college curriculum is far better than the other college in the same field.
The infrastructure is very advanced and maintained.
The overall campus life is far better than other colleges.

Dislikes

The assignments and internals are too much time and energy consuming.
The faculty sometime shows neglectance towards the students
There are problems with schedule of classes,especially from second year onwards.

Placement Experience:

The college placements are descent, varying on individual capabilities.The average package is aroung 7-8 LPA for this course and varies for dofferent courses.The internship period starts from the third year.

Greenary campus and infrastructure of university
The sports facility provided by the university is too good
Professors and staffs are too much helpful

We all need to wear the uniform of this university
Sometimes wifi doesn't work properly when we need

The placement rate of this university is too good.The average package is around 6LPA and the highest package is around 40LPA. Students which are in seventh semester become eligible for placement. for campus placement companies like hcl, dell, wipro, capegmini....my plan after getting the degree is to appear in gate exam and get admission into iit and get degree of mtech and placement.

Likes

The campus is very beautiful and students are also friendly
The faculty is also nice and approachable
The security of the college is also good

Dislikes

There is uniform in the college which is quite irritating
You can't go inside or outside the college anytime
The food of the mess is not good but you can survive

Placement Experience:

They promise assured placements during the admission but the average package is considerably very low which is only 3 lpa. Only some selected few get to sit in the interviews of good companies . But you can crack good package if you study hard

Dislikes

They do not let us go out even if our classes are finished.
Food is horrible and too expensive, and they do not care hygiene

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companis that visit are IBM, TCS, Microsoft, Meta etc. Almost 80-90% get placed. My plan is to secure a placement in a god company. If you guys are looking for someone please make an exception.

Likes

Sports is good like that clubs organise different competitions.
Classrooms are good enough they've got projectors ac's and good space.
Library is good got enough books and good sitting space and heaters, ac's as well.

Dislikes

Food is expensive a bit and quantity is low.
Some inequality in different block libraries.
Heard some stuff about how hostlers cant opt for day schooling.

Placement Experience:

5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
The Chitkara University in a nutshell is a good option provided the individual is satisfied with the details.
