Pravara Medical College basic information

Likes

Teaching is good and faculty are approachable
Campus is good and maintained and peaceful
Good patient flow for clinical posting practice

Dislikes

Fees are not affordable for a lot of people
Not too many things to do outside campus
Exam schedule is very tight and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

The clinical postings help very well to become good doctor. The course helps us to understanding which field we will take up and practice in the future. 1st internal 3 months after year start 2nd internal 3 months after 1st internal Prelims 2-3 months after 2nd internal University final 1 month after prelims

Life at Pravara Rural Medical College

Likes

Excellent Clinical exposure, professors and residents are eager to teach and ready to help and clear doubts, good patient exposure and pateint flow is adequate making learning opportunities interesting and varied
Campus life is great, with green, lush environment with cool climate and hostels and comfortable to live with mess food available is good and menu is flexible
Many opportunities for Extra-curricular activities with amazing grounds for sports like football, badminton, tennis, basketball,clubs like academic,dance,music club to explore your artistic side

Dislikes

Not many drawbacks but some people may complain of lack of good quality restaurants and fast food chains nearby, however this is present in Shirdi(30km from the campus)

Course Curriculum Overview:

CBME based curriculum includes teaching in a way which is practically useful and not based on rote memorization rather helps us understand the concepts and application based teaching makes it easier to deal with pateints in the ward in an effective way

good staff ,labs , teachers and knowledge
good weather and close to shirdi and nashik

Dislikes

bad food in hostel and tigers and lions around campus
in time for girls and boys is diff , for girls 9pm and for boys no in time

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum includes good clinical approach to medical students since second year to 4th year , stipend is also given in 5th year. the exams are quite frequent and of medium difficulty. good labs and postmortem room

There are every machine is available regarding radiology
Well qualified staff is there to teach us
For practice there is attached hospital , too many patients are there so we can practice

Dislikes

Honestly , there is no such kind of things that I can dislike
Admission process is too much lengthy and our documents are submitted to the university untill our graduation is done
Phess structure is good but no scholarship is given to poor students

I was interested in radiology from childhood as I seen elders talking about radiology field and this things influenced me to talked admission to this BSC mrit medical radiography imagining technology course

The life of an MBBS

Likes

The campus as a lot of trees which makes keeps the air cool
The management of the college is pretty good
The opd of the hospital is good as it gives many opportunities

Dislikes

Few sheds to be needed to sit around in campus
Hygiene is a bit less which can be managed
Roads are a bit rough which can also be managed

This course is well managed and has a well renowned doctor which gives u an opportunity to service ppl by treating them from such deadly diseases. And the main agenda is to provide medical assistance to the ones in need

Mess food is bad it needs to be improved
Less holidays even less preparatory leave as compared to other universities

MBBS is a very noble field. It makes you a responsible person in the outside world as well. The curriculum prepares you to be persistent and hardworking even in the outside world. The exams are held every 3-4 months

Less fees compared to other deemed colleges. Easy to travel. There is shirdi airport just 22 km from college, good environment,transportation is very convenient.Good Infrastructure.Spiritual place. Shirdi is very near to us

One of the best Medical College in Maharashtra

Remarks:

The college offers world class education, all latest facilities, adequate patient load for clinical studies, seminars. There are only positives for this college however the only thing which is a bit negative the high fee structure and location of the college semi rural area.
