Likes

The teachers are all very helpful and cooperative, most importantly very learned
Amazing infrastructure of the whole college with lovely ambiance, there many clubs in college to keep the students engaged in activities, grand events every year with new fun and theme.
The course is really amazing as i thought it has to be.

Dislikes

They mostly fail students so that they get money when student apply for reappear of exam
There is no scholarship for any student, there is internship for 1 year.
There is no other stipend or job in this.the internship is the hospital that is affiliated by the college

LIFE AS PERFUSION STUDENT

Likes

The college has a great campus and great opportunity for students with different clubs,and extra curricular activities like dancing singing poetry and drama and sports which is very great with outdoor games like cricket, badminton,football.
Best thing is NCC ENROLLMENT which gives us opportunity to join army navy and airforce
The teaching faculty is good , library is good , department is help full , classroom are air conditioned

Dislikes

Some teachers are not good at teaching, teachers only read the ppt and leave rest on students
Exams are not conducted according to the yearly curriculum
Limited access to college campus , expensive college ,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has been set precisely, the only problem is that the college faculty should go accordingly , improvement can be made , but the curriculum for for the first year is good as it gives us knowledge of all aspects of medicine.

Yes the subject teaching methods are modern and as a learner it's quite applicable in the real world. Practicals start from 2nd year and that's the important part as theory can only take you so far and practical knowledge is important in the medical field

The university is very large and faculties are very helpful
The university carries out many events for overall growth of a student.
University is private so we get a chance to clear out papers.

Dislikes

The college is very strict about the attendance .
College should provide bus facility for nearby students
There is a problem in parking of 4 wheelers .

The course for the college contains actually practical knowledge containing subjects like python programming, engineering mathematics, data structures, etc. The exams are conducted in 2 parts unit and final. This helps in overall growth of a student.

Likes

Campus is very big and it's very refreshing all the rooms are air conditioned. Teaching method is good everything is very convenient

Dislikes

The teaching pattern is not nice. Lectures are not scheduled properly. Due to more no of students we don't get proper exposure in operating the equipment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum needs a few more add-ons like I said for 2 and 3 yr the syllabus is mostly the same there is nothing new that is learned. The theory and practical parts is different. But basics should be thought before which is not there in that.

They have been promoting us course through social media and after considering the given data I choose my course. Exams are of moderate level I didn't had any issues regarding the exams. They can improve in technical things which makes it more interesting to study

Likes

Classrooms interior and aura is really amazing
Nice library placement for studies and cafeteria in college
Love the amenities they provide for students better college experience

Dislikes

It's sometimes hard to connect with professor
Need to socialize a lot with students in campus
Hard to get in to the department for any event or culture

Placement Experience:

During the course in mid year the college offers few internships in whichever field you intereste, also after the course ends they will give u few recommendations and the college name itself is easy to get in any interview.

Likes

Offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses and programs which are as per recent standards.
The new labs and lab equipment. New labs for ios devs and robotics are also constructed.

Dislikes

Some faculty are great in teaching aspects, some are not so good.
The mandetory 75 percent attendance is a huge dislike, forcing students to meet a strict attendance threshold.

Placement Experience:

RAIT placement cell actively assists in providing placement assistant to 4th year students . They provide placement training , interview readiness programs for placement prep . Companies and organization which visit are TCS , ACCENTURE , COGNIZANT , LTIMINDTREE , IBM , KPMG, TIAA, CISCO and many more.

The things I liked in dy patil University is their learning system also known as LMS which helps for study material provided by faculties itself

Dislikes

The poor management system of faculties lectures and exam management
Poor bench qualities poir decoram poor ac conditioning of class

If I say how well it prepares me for the real world application the answer is pretty less because in lectures it's only theory only pdf based study and the improvement would be by providing projects as internal assessment which would directly implement the theoretical knowledge to practical ones in form of projects and continuing to the timing of exams is good in my academic year I attended my exams at late morning time

Likes

I liked a lot of things especially the faculty.
The support staff are quite helpful in the laboratories.
The syllabus of the course work is up-to-date.

Dislikes

The instruments present are very old and not well maintained.
The communication of different events and activities are not upto the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is constantly getting updated. From the year I started, We have learnt alot of new techniques that were recently discovered. The faculties try to involve alot of AI as well. They help us with understanding of AI in our field. The total working days of the college for a semester are 90. During that period 2 internals and 1 end semester exams are conducted. 1-2 assignments or projects are given for each subject too.

Classes and auditorium are different for different courses even the teaching museum is also provided apart from auditorium n rooms
Facilities are much more in whole university for different different courses eg even the cafes and hotels too
Hostel is different for boys n girls, the cafeteria is more bigger for students to hangout after lecture

Dislikes

For hostel boys and girls they have exclude the food facilties

First of all i have to choose medical stream from std of 6th, dy university is the best oppurtinity for students to come n get the facilities at best.Overall curriculum and teaching memmbers staffs are well trained n mainly they are doctors so no doubt abt the teaching
