Starting from the 6th semester, students can participate in campus placements with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, which offer annual packages between 5-10 lakhs. The placement success rate is around 70-80% either during or after completing the course. Some university professors also hire interns to assist with research, providing a monthly stipend of 3000-5000 INR.
Interns gain hands-on laboratory experience and learn to use advanced instruments. The university offers affordable education due to central government funding, with tuition fees set at 4000 per semester. Hostel accommodation costs 1000 per semester, with an additional 2000 per month for food expenses. Various scholarships are available, especially for postgraduate studies, to support lower-caste students.
PhD students receive a stipend of 8000 per month through the UGC NON NET fellowship program.
