Ques. Is BA Visual Arts at MGU the same as BA Interior Architecture & Artistry at SJCC?
Ans. Yes. The programme previously known as BA Visual Arts (Interior Design) under Mahatma Gandhi University has been renamed to BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Artistry under the MGU UGP (Honours) framework introduced from 2024. The course is offered at St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC), Changanacherry, and covers interior design, architectural drawing, sculpture, 3D visualization, and related subjects. Students who joined before 2024 graduated under the old name, while new admissions are under the Honours framework.
Ques. What is the total fee for BA Visual Arts / Interior Architecture & Artistry at SJCC, and are there any hidden charges?
Ans. The tuition fee is Rs. 35,000 per semester, totalling Rs. 2,80,000 for the full 4-year (8-semester) programme. Candidates from any stream - Science, Commerce, or Humanities - are eligible to apply. The CAP process begins after the Kerala Plus Two results are published, typically in June each year.
