Tge exam pattern and the way of teaching is good and understansable and they teach all the basic before going. To core of the subject and the lab are nice enough and individual practices are done in the college

Here the syllabus designed is quite unique and advanced. It makes us to understand real world problems and application based. It makes anyone to make and understand deep practical knowledge rather than theory. Difficulty level depends on student and timing of exams for mid sem is 2 hrs for 50 marks and 3 hrs for 100 marks

Students become eligible from the 3rd semester for campus placement in the 2 year masters course. Many companies like Biocon, Merck, visit the college for campus placement. Profiles offered are: NGS analyst, Bioinformatician, data analytics, data management etc. Amrita holds a 98% placement record and these details came be fetched from the Amrita university webpage. Students who didn't get placed only went ahead for research and to pursue their PhD. The average package offered would be 3-4 LPA and the highest offered would be 6 LPA. My plans after the degree depend on the placement opportunities I get. If I get a decent placement opportunity, I would choose to work and later pursue my PhD. Otherwise, I choose to pursue my PhD and later work.

Students are given internships and those who excel well in the internships often get placed in the same company. Sometimes placements are clashed for both Science and Engineering students and the better one gets placed. Many startups prefer our college and our Dean has link with many startups. Based on the core companies, several core companies are seen here and on average 12LPA is the salary and mostly every student gets placed here and I will do my phD after this course and Im not into getting placed. unilever biocon bharath biotech sunpharma these are the big giants that took students with good package

The placement opportunities are very high. We get a minimum package of 6.5 lakhs per annum and more. The top end companies like EY , Deloitte, Tcs , federal bank, IBM, Tetrapark etc.. are available for us.

Food in the hostel and college was bad they only provides veg items there was over strictness for all the batches they considered graduate students and post graduate student all as one.
