The college atmosphere.As the campus was too big and the choosed course was bsc in agriculture, the campus was too greenery giving a aesthetic feel
The infrastructure of d clg ,canteen and the lawn in between the different departments.

Dislikes

The college timings,literally it was school ka kind.from 8 to 5pm.it was difficult to sit there
No encouragement towards cultural events .

Fees and Financial Aid:

Coming to our academic fee structure ,its like semester fees payment ,as we git through kcet the fees was 25000 per semester..its like above 25 for odd sems and below 20k for even sems..other than kcet placements,the fees for nri quota is 6lakh per yr..

A three years journey in GKVK

Likes

The campus beauty has attracted me the most, it isa very peaceful campus with huge library facilities well maintained roads,canteen,departments, indoor stadium, sports ground and hostels.
Friendly and very supportive staffs with huge grip on their subject

Dislikes

Entry of outers which spoils the peace in the campus
Less options for food in the canteen and in the mess

Fees and Financial Aid:

Ph.D. degree will be three years with semister systems, two semister per year. Usually even semister fee will be more compared to odd sem. It ranges from 40k-53k per semister(even) and 25k-35k per odd semister. We can get national fellowship namely senior research fellow ship, Ugc fellowship, pm grants, women fellowship, etc. Whereas state wise also we can apply for fellowships. And very important university will provide University merit fellowship for top scorer in each department individually with 4k per month. Along with this for category students University will provide 10k per month financial aid from University SC/ST cell. And for category students University won't charge any fees for semistere.

Likes

Quality of Infrastructure and Teaching staff was excellent.
Availability of Research fields and experimental establishments

Dislikes

Hostel Mess food, specifically for north Indian students
Campus bit outside of the city, connectivity issues

Fees and Financial Aid:

For two years of post-graduation course fees were 2500 per year. Other fees were availed through the fellowship. For other candidates, the college charges around 40000 per year. University accepts Indian Council of Agriculture Research Fellowships and Department of Plant Biotechnology fellowships. Candidates can also avail of Karnataka state government fellowships.

Great environment for the agricultural studies

Dislikes

As in agriculture subject has to improve about field level studies.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution fee is prescribed by the government of Karnataka Because it is a government institute. Tution fee is about 60000 per annum. Scholarships are provided through state government and central government schemes and university scholarship also provided.

Total fees constitute around 130000 for completion of master degree with 1st sem 50000 rupees, 2nd sem 18000 3rd sem 40000 4th sem 16000 . There are scholarship at state , national and university level

I liked the faculty where they are friendly.
I liked the hostel having high end facilities

Dislikes

I dislike the placement cell, because there is not much placement for ug level.
There is no bus facility for students who are dayscholars

Fees and Financial Aid:

We can apply for ssp ( State Scholarship Portal) where one can get 25,000rs per year . If one have agri quota ,they can get extra 8,000rs and students can apply for NSP scholarship also. There will also be general merit scholarship.

COA with lot pros than cons

The educational trips and the programmes that were conducted
The concept of counsellor and the UNIVERSITY scholarship

Hostel mess bill and the taste of some food
The registration process for each semester is a hectic one

Fees and Financial Aid:

As discussed, it is a government college and when a student gets admitted through CET it may cost around 24000 per semester and 2700 per month is the hostel or mess bill. When compared to a lot more colleges in Karnataka, our college has overseen the fee structure in order to help students to achieve their goals through education. University scholarship will be given to each class for the top 12 members of that class with the highest CGPA(CUMULATIVE GRADE POINT ASSESSMENT)and state and national scholarships will be provided to all students except NRI(NON-RESIDENT OF INDIA) students. Even the ICAR scholarship will be provided to those students who admitted through the ICAR ranking

The fee for a semester is around 15000 and per year the fee is 30000 and we will get financial support from the government of Karnataka as a SSPS scholarship of around 35000 including host fee and the university also provides scholarships.

Post-metric scholarship, Merit scholarship Vidyanidhi JRF scholarship Finance assistance by banks If you clear the bsc, you can join other companies and you can earn money, if you comple MSc you get lot of opportunities and priority.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Fee is structure is very nominal compared to other professional courses. Semester fee may range from 10k to 15k and it is reasonable. Scholarship are available with the state scholarship under vidya siri. University scholarship based on merit is also available. It is highly tilted towards the underprivileged and talented students. GM category students should not expect any of it. Campus placement is just not there! I can say its 0% placement. The placement cell is a redundant body with no industry academia link and no proactive measures to place Undergrad students. No skill training or exposure is given for it.
