The college is recognized as the top academic institution in the state, with a faculty of nine lecturers praised for their excellence. Half of the faculty is over 45 years of age, while the other half is under 40. Jayaram, from the electronics department, is highlighted for his expertise. The college follows a uniform fee structure for all students, with exceptions for those with reservations.
There are no extra fees, and payments are made in cash. Currently, there are no active placement activities; however, some students have secured positions in the Police department via the National Cadet Corps (NCC) program. General category students need to meet certain percentage criteria to qualify for scholarships.
