- Candidates must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related civil discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks (45 percent for SC/ST Karnataka candidates).
- A valid GATE 2026 score is preferred and mandatory for the AICTE fellowship stipend. Karnataka PGCET 2026 rank is accepted for Karnataka state quota seats. NUCAT-PG scores are accepted for management quota seats; apply at apply.nitte.edu.in.
Admission Process
- Appear in GATE 2026 (exam: Feb 7, Feb 08, Feb 14 and Feb 15, 2026) for AICTE fellowship eligibility, or in Karnataka PGCET 2026 (M.Tech exam: May 24, 2026) for state quota admission.
