Located in Hazaribagh, Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) was established in the year 1992 and is funded by Government of India. The university offers various courses at the undergraduate, post-graduate & doctorate level with teaching and research in Physical Science, Life Science, Earth Science, Social Science, Humanities, Commerce, Technology, Medical Science, Law, Education, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic Medicine & Engineering etc.

For admission to courses offered by Vinoba Bhave University (VBU), students have to qualify the national/state level entrance tests to secure admission in various UG & PG programs in different specializations.

Admission to MBA is given on the basis of past academic performance, marks in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA followed by GD and PI.
For B.Tech and M.Tech, candidates should possess valid JEE Main and GATE score, respectively.
In case of MBBS and BDS, NEET score is considered for admission.

Vinoba Bhave University offers UG courses including BA, B.Sc. in multiple specializations as well as B.Ed, B.Com, BBA and BCA. A candidate having passed class 12^th with at least 50% marks in the related stream can apply for any of the bachelor’s courses, except for B.Ed. and LLB in which only a graduate can apply. The admission to UG courses is mainly done through merit list except for B.Ed. course for which the students are required to appear for an Entrance test.

Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) MBBS, BAMS, BHMS & BDS Admission 2024

VBU offers MBBS, BDS courses at UG level focusing on the area of Medicine and Surgery. Candidates seeking admission in MBBS need to secure at least 60% score in aggregate at 10+2 level exam, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English being the main subject.

In order to seek admission in MBBS, the aspirants need to go through an entrance examination known as NEET, conducted by CBSE. VBU will release the merit list on the basis of student’s performance in NEET.

Admission to the BAMS and BHMS courses are done on the basis of Entrance examination conducted by the Association of Private Homoeopathic Medical Colleges of Jharkhand in the month of May. BPT admissions are done based on the score of entrance exam conducted by VBU in September. Application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from the University on payment of INR 1000 (INR 750 for SC/ST) as application fee.

Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) B.Tech Admission 2024

University offers B.Tech. in various specializations, the duration of which is four years.VBU also accepts admission in second-year Lateral entry under the similar specializations for the duration of three years.

Candidates appeared in 10+2 board examination with Science and Mathematics from any recognized university or equivalent board, will be considered eligible to apply in B.Tech program. To accomplish the eligibility of B.Tech Lateral entry the candidates need to hold a Polytechnic Diploma in the relevant discipline.

Admission to the B.Tech course will be done on the basis of score obtained in JCECE or JEE Main.

Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) MD, MS & MDS Admission 2024

VBU offers MD, MS and MDS at the postgraduate level. Duration of MD, MS and MDS programs are three years. A graduate in MBBS/BDS with minimum 50% marks can apply for MS/MD and MDS respectively. In order to seek admission in both of the PG level medical courses, the candidates have to appear in NEET entrance exam, conducted by NBE.

Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) PG Admission 2024: M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Com, MA, M.Ed & MBA

Minimum eligibility for all the postgraduate courses is a bachelor’s degree in the respective field. Admission to programs like MA, M.Com, M.Sc are offered on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination only. While Admission to M.Tech is through the PG entrance examination conducted by the Government of Jharkhand or through GATE .

MBA brochure and application form is available at the university for INR 1000/- (INR 750 for SC/ST). M.Sc Environmental Science application form is available for Graduate (10+2+3) /MBBS/B.Tech candidates with minimum 50% marks For INR 1000/- ( INR 750 for SC/ST/DA). Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) M.Phil. and Ph.D. Admission 2024

Vinoba Bhave University also offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses in several specializations. Duration for the M.Phil. courses is one and a half years and Ph.D. course is 3-4 years.

Admission under M.Phil. degree is done on the basis of marks obtained in the university entrance test.

For the M.Phil/Ph.D. course, a candidate must have obtained a Master’s degree in the subject or related field with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates with good score in UGC NET or CSIR NET will be preferred during admission.

For Ph.D. every candidate needs to appear in the Doctoral Eligibility cum Entrance Test (DEET) which is conducted by the Vinoba Bhave University. Qualifying DEET is a mandatory requirement for enrolment, and until that stage the admission shall be treated as provisional.

A candidate who has a minimum 5 years work experience (Teaching/Industrial/Research) may be given relaxation of 5% by the Vice-Chancellor for registration for Ph.D. programme.

Application form can be obtained from the affiliated college of Vinoba Bhave University on payment of application fee through cash or Demand draft.

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

Admission:

i applied for several other colleges like heritage haldia and some of in west bengal also in bit sindri and also i get a seat in ece branch of haldia institute of technology but when it comes to the fees it was too high as i earlier mentioned it was like 14 to 15 lacs all over and it was non affordable for my family cause my father is a farmer and in off season he runs a shop our monthly income is about 8 to 10000 ruppes. ofcourse the other colleges are good and in comparison to my college they are very good but again the reason i choose this collge because of affordability also there is no issue of daily attendance if you have good bond with faculty so i get a very good time for self study and GATE preparation so this best fits for me. actually i was preparing for NDA but didn't shorlisted in interview and it was my attempt in drop year after 12 th so i has no age left for NDA so i decided to prepare for jee in december and it was very short time so i prepared a bit and got landed with 82 percentile and then dropped in this college with free tution free waiver seat in cse branch. for admission you have to apply for jcece counselling and then you have to choose your preference order with collges and course and accoroding to your rank you will alloted a seat then after you have to come here with all documents like 10 th makrksheet 12 th marksheet and more personal documents like aadhar card seat allotment letter etc the college admisson cell will verify and after paying the allotment fees they will confirm you seat.

I applied for government engineering college, Palamu but in 1 round counselling I didn't get any seat , but after the first counseling my parents not ready for getting admission in Palamu , it's far from the hometome and as my parents instructed my to choose college near the hometome so I decided to get admission in Ramgarh engineering college For admission,you have to give entrance exam of engineering - jee main then you have to score for 90 percetile to get a Government College for general student ..
