24 Jul, 2025 HPCET 2025 Counselling Schedule has been released @himtu.ac.in for direct entry to B.Pharm, B.Tech, BHMCT, and Pharm.D programs. The 1st Round of counselling will take place from July 25 to August 04, 2025. For more details, Check Here.
23 Jul, 2025 AILET 2026 exam date has been revised to December 14, 2025, for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programs. AILET 2026 registration will be available @nationallawuniversitydelhi.in from August 7 to November 10, 2025. To know more, click here.
IEC University was established in the year 2012. It is located in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. IEC University offers an extensive range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in various specializations.
In UG & PG courses, the maximum number of seats available are 60. For doctoral courses, the intake is a maximum of 8 seats.
- The application process of the university is carried out in offline and online mode.
- For admission in B.Tech, students must have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or should have a valid rank/score in JEE Main or HPCET.
- Admission in management programs is done on the basis of rank/score in MAT/CMAT/ CAT/XAT.
- For B.Arch, the admission is done through a valid rank in NATA.
- There is a 5% relaxation in marks on the eligibility criterion for SC/ST/Reserved candidates.

IEC University UG Admission 2024
IEC University BA, B.Sc, BBA, BCA and B.Com as a part of its UG program. The mode of application for these courses is online and offline. The minimum eligibility to apply is 10+2 from a recognized board.

IEC University UG Professional Courses Admission 2024: B.Tech, B.Arch, BPT, BPH
IEC University Himachal offers 7 professional courses with five specializations in B.Tech. The mode of application to all courses is carried out online and offline. The eligibility to apply for the courses is 10+2 with minimum 45% marks.
B.Tech aspirants need to hold a valid Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main / Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) rank. B.Arch applicants must have minimum 40% score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and BPT students need to appear for an entrance examination and interview conducted by the university.

IEC University PG Professional Courses Admission 2024: M.Tech, MBA, MCA
IEC University offers a variety of postgraduate professional courses. The application process is online and offline for all the courses. The minimum eligibility for all the courses is a graduate degree in the relevant field.
Admission in MBA is done on the basis of rank in MAT / CMAT / CAT / XAT. For M.Tech, a valid score is required in GATE.

IEC University M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2024
The university offers M.Phil and Ph.D. as doctoral courses. The minimum eligibility is a Master’s degree in the relevant stream with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
Selection for Ph.D. aspirants is done on the basis of results and scholarship grant obtained through CSIR/UGC/NET/SLET. For M.Phil, the selection is done on the basis of university entrance examination.

- The number of seats allotted to Ph.D. and M.Phil courses is 1 and 4-5 per department.
- Candidates with a valid score in CSIR/NET/JRF/SLET/GATE are exempted from the entrance test
IEC University Application Process 2024
The application process of IEC University, Himachal is common for all the courses, available in online and offline mode. In online mode of application, the students can submit the form online and also make the payment through RBI approved payment gateway from the official website of the university.
In the offline mode, the candidates have to download and send the duly filled application form to the academic office of the university. For the payment, a Demand Draft of INR 500 in favor of “IEC University, Baddi” has to be drawn payable at New Delhi/Baddi, Himachal Pradesh
List of documents required to be attached with the application form:
- Original migration certificate
- Character certificate
- Date of birth certificate
- 10th class certificate
- 12th class certificate
- Mark-sheet of qualifying examination,
- Transfer certificate for UP Board students (Original),
- 10 passport size photographs
The application fee for the courses is INR 500 which can be paid via Debit/Credit card in online mode, and through DD in offline mode.
