gd goenka is really a therive for a new life

Likes

mostly i like about gd goenks is that they have a good infrastructure, their labs are good and their mac labs are fantastic. there is a good student culture many seniour will approach you for guiding u.
things that i personally like that most of the teachers are very helpfull they will guide u if u are stucking in some where in studies. the syllabus taught to the btech students is decent
I also like the sports they are providing like cricket, basket ball, volleyball, football, archery , shooting , swiming and many more. most importantly u can go on higher level like district, zonal etc if u want to.

Dislikes

like few students misbehave in the campus but it happens very rarely because our faculty is strict in that type of situations
one more thing that i dont like is that gd goenka placements fluctuate a lot. it was having highest 45 lakhs in 2024 and it dropped to 15 lakhs in 2025

Admission:

i have searched many colleges in greater nodia like amity, kcc institute, ITS engeineering college but they all where vey crouded that is the reason why i prefered gd goenka above all and also most of the college in greater nodia were having very low placement rate so that is the reason why i perfered gd goenka

Likes

i liked the teaching of my course in particular
i liked the facilities provided it is free for all
the food stalls are amazing and the quantity and the price is very reasonable

Dislikes

i disliked the management sometimes it can be really quick and sometimes its very slow

Admission:

i didnt get rejected from other colleges and i choose what was convienent for me and the eligibilty is quite easy as it is a private college and i dont know about the current suystem wheter you need a cuet eam or not but it was not neccesary for us at our time and it is very easy procedure i should say

Life at GD GOENKA UNIVERSITY

Likes

Beautifull campus and greenery and too big campus.
Many outlets like dominos CCD and Nescafe Needs supermarket.
Beautifull administration office and average classes also have a big mac lab

Dislikes

Not having free parking facility in college and also a big pool in front of college after every rain
No better coordinators late in all works not solving student problems and always rude like they are paying for us
Some teachers also not good always rude and atmosphere because of south and nigerian students not good

A Modest college experience: life, learning and limitations

Supportive faculty and enriching academics. Well maintained campus with good infrastructure.
Affordable food in the canteen. Vibrant campus life with various activities.
Girls to boys ratio: 30:70 (30%girls, 70% boys)

Dislikes

Occasional WiFi connectivity issues. Limited placement opportunities for certain fields.

NICE COLLEGE

well discipline staff and teachers, they took your concern seriously and try to solve as soon as possible, teachers are also very good and talented as i was students from COVID BATCH but in online classes also they teach us with discipline.
Campus is very beautiful, almost in 60 acres with 3 cafes inside the campus and dominoes .so much facility also available inside the campus like swimming pool gym horse riding dance classes ATM service and many more.
So many international students was there and people from different state means from all over the India which is play a very important role in my personality development and understandin in different culture of India.

Dislikes

i think think i don't like about my college is they invite so much company for interviews which really bring a so much pressure on student shoulder to perform well and last year students are already in so much pressure due to uncertainty of their fut
my college culture is so much upgraded and being a middle class this is really tough to adjust in such culture its almost take 1to 2 years to adapt that culture generally people from rich family or upper middle family took admission in GD GOENKA uni.
Tution fee is also so much in compare to other university to for the same course also teachers are not specific for their subjects they can teach you anythings and also if you have backlog then you have to pay 5000per subject which is also so much .

Admission:

actually i took admission in gd goenka university very late in october almost because i waited for my ICAR result unfortuenely i cannot get the college but have to take admission so took in gd goenka.

i really liked the infrastructure of the college and high tech labs with all equipments in good conditions. everything is done in a very maintained and organised way
great faculty indeed and even a personal mentor is provided to each and every student to solve the problems faced by students
great fests and events are organised, reva is the fresher's party and udyami is the diwali fest which give students to put stalls and pitch for their startup ideas and earn money

Dislikes

GD Goenka university is slighlty expensive, nothing else

admission process in really smooth and easy no i didn't rejection from other colleges for which i have applied i applied for KR managalam university and bennett university and GD Goenka university out of which GD Goenka university is best in terms of infrastructure, trasnport friendly, is on road not much into residential area and mainly because faculty is great here and my brother just got passed out from GD Goenka university he was pursuing BCA program and according to him out of the three GD Goenka is best in ebery aspect almost

Value For Money and Great Infrastructure

Likes

The college is very luxurious and very stylish. The infrastructure is extremely beautiful.
The hostels are extremely clean and mess is very hygienic, with lots of variety of food.
The curriculum is up to date with NEP and teachers are very well educated.

Dislikes

The fests and events are not organized very often and that could be improved.
The college is located very far from the nearest metro station.
Not a lot of sports events are held which could be held a lot more frequently.

Admission:

I applied to and was looking at a number of colleges while applying but this college in particular had mt tention because of its faculty and the placement opportunities. The infrastructure and college life of this college also intrigued me to join this college

The infrastructure and services provided by college best class room ambience and atmosphere the class rooms are weel setup the projector boards white board and marker 3d animation and illuminating class rooms and speakers and mics for presentation ….
We’ll setup labs and instruments for practical knowledge the labs are completely full of all instruments needed for practical knowledge the instruments are new and in proper working condition we all are allowed to handle them and carethemwith teacher
Different events and clubs to engage the interest of students The clubs are well maintained and the leaders of the club are choosen every year by the intervies students can increase the hobby as there talent and learn more from the facilities of same

Dislikes

No lift service for 4rth floor u have to use the stairs its cery difficulty to travel with stair cas whole day through stairs there is no lift services if even ther is any medical emergency the infrastructure where it lacks but the see towards this .
Local crowd always makes the mess during events and programs the locals seniors are very aggressive their and holds a dominant position among all the students culture but the authorities are always ready to make them knee down for saving college life
Less availability of administrative stafff for listening the problem The admission staff lacks in the availability and due to which we have to suffer a lot for approval of our documents and or losg and found or any other thing related to college appr

Admission:

So i have visited both the college ond by one then i chose this one because in other college there is very bad situation of hostels not a good infrastructure and reviews from the college seniors and also no availability of basic needs outside the college at least you have to travel 30 km away for having a food
