Admission to undergraduate courses at the college relies mainly on entrance exams. B.Tech applicants need a 10+2 qualification in Physics, Math, and Chemistry, and their JEE Main rank is crucial. For B.Sc. Agriculture, candidates must take the Agricultural Aptitude Test (AAT) or the ICAR exam by NTA, followed by online counseling. The faculty is highly qualified, with many holding doctoral degrees, offering strong teaching and research opportunities. The college's fees are affordable, with tuition for general category students at INR 14,000 per year and master's programs at INR 17,500 annually.
Additional costs, including lodging, can bring the total graduation expense to around INR 50,000. Scholarships are available, including National Talent Scholarships and fee waivers for female and SC/ST students. Placement opportunities are strong in the agricultural sector, with 60-70% of students securing jobs, salaries ranging from 2.5 to 15 lakhs annually, and an average package between 3.5 to 6 lakhs. Companies like Yacca Foods, Bayer Crop Science, and Mahindra recruit regularly.
The college's Career Bulletin and workshops aid student employment prospects. Scholarships also support students, including Rs. 3000 monthly for ICAR students and Rs. 1200 for top-ranking Haryana residents. Female students have tuition fee exemptions, and the top 10 JEE Main admission holders receive Rs. 4000. Loans and Tuition Fee Waivers are available for needy students. Semester fees for B.Tech are INR 14,000 for boys and INR 10,000 for girls, excluding hostel costs.
