Shree Somnath Sanskrit University was established in the year 2005 by Panditji Shri Naval Kishore Sharma former Governor and Chancellor of the University. It is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). It is located at Somnath-Verawal, dist-Junagadh, Gujarat. It is built over more than 17 acres of land donated by Shri Somnath Trust.
