The University owns a well-established Training & Placement Cell. The goal of the Training & Placement Cell is to provide students with a platform for using their potential to gain valuable experience by working in the organisation; it also acts as an interface between various organisations seeking talented candidates in various disciplines. The Training & Placement Cell acts as a bridge between the students & reputed industries such as Reliance Industries Limited, Piramal Healthcare, Avenue Supermarts Limited (D-Mart), Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., by keeping in mind the number of students to be absorbed in the various industries. The Training & Placement Cell also imparts contact between the institution & industry to carry out the placement activities of the students. The Training & Placement Cell regularly arranges Resume Evaluation Process sessions for the final semester students of the various departments for the most effective resume preparation. The Training & Placement Cell actively makes its continuous efforts in improving the skills of the students by arranging various informative Contra Drive (Confidence + Training) sessions.

What Facilities does the Children's Day Care at Saurashtra University offer?

Childrens Day Care Centre has been started by Saurashtra University, Rajkot, on the University Campus, behind the Central Library Building. The Centre is functioning at present in a small building of two rooms. The average number of children attending the centre is nearly ten. The visiting teaching faculty, visitors, teaching & non-teaching staff residing on the campus, the research students & scholars, the participants in the Refresher-Oriented courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences are taking advantage of this centre. Thus, it has proved very beneficial to them. Children age of 3 months to 6 years are admitted to the centre. Many entertaining and educational toys and games have been purchased. There is a playground also for them. There are see-saws, Zolas, sliding strips, bicycles, tricycles and many other items of pleasure for the children. The modern audio-visual means like T V, D V D player are also utilised for them.

Placement Experience:

in each and every semester students can give interview and get job. as per they knowledge and skills. in my college i visited gopal namkin pvt ltd. and givemore llp. both of the companies are in rajkot. as i here from students who got their job. they tell me that their starting salary is 25000 per month. no percentage matters eligibilty is only that you have to must past in previous semester. my plan is for that when i will complete my graduation, i will do MBA. and get a job for well experience for few year after i will start my startup.

The problem is placement after your studies can be not trustable by students but you can fing good basedbon your skills

You can get job after your degree after 6 years and 4year in D. Pharama and B pharama respectively u can also pursue M pharmacy if you want . Well to be honest the placement is not good here you have to find your own job because the jobe they provide is mostly not acceptable by students because of various factors like salary and other thing. Though gujarat is business hub companies like Tata and other pharmacy companies and also hospital like sterling etc come for placement. the average package is 25000 . About 60% of students placements but mostly they don't accept offer. My plans after my doctor of pharmacy degree of going abroad since they can provide me Better workplace and salary. And also my degree is suitable for that.

After the completion of internship one get offer from Gujarat government to serve in rular area for 2 years and other option is get seat in pg in same or other college and pursue residency for 3 years I will give neet pg . Some students give usmle also which gives opportunity to serve in America
