Ques. Does HNGU provide hostel facilities for both boys and girls?
Ans. Yes, HNGU provide separate hostel facility for boys and girls, and the campus try to maintain good living environment for students coming from different places. The hostels have basic things like bed, study table, cupboard, clean drinking water and normal mess food options. Students usually need to apply early because seats gets fill fast. Overall hostel is decent for regular students, but sometime maintenance is little slow.
Ques.. Can students from other states apply for HNGU UG and PG admissions?
Ans. Yes, students from any other state can apply for UG and PG admission at HNGU without any issue. The university accept applicants from whole India, but during final admission they must give Migration Certificate from their previous board or university. Some out-of-state students face small delay in document verification, so better to keep all papers ready. Otherwise the process is simple and same for all category of students.
Ques. Is there any scholarship available for HNGU students?
Ans. Yes, HNGU students can apply for many government scholarships like Post-Matric Scholarship, SC/ST/OBC schemes, EWS scholarship and some merit-based support. The university itself not give big direct scholarship, but they help students in applying through official portals. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree obtained through their Graduation or an equivalent qualification. The admission to the MSW at the HNGU will be done based on the merit in the previous qualifying examinations.
