Ganpat University Admission 2024: Eligibility and Selection Process

Ganpat University offers a four-year B.Tech program for which admission is based on candidates’ scores in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) or JEE Main. Candidates applying for B.Tech program must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The per annum fee for Ganpat University B.Tech CSE is INR 1,27,800. For all the other branches like, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc the university has an yearly fees of INR 1,19,000. 

Ganpat University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
• Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR
• Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

Ganpat University B.Tech Selection Criteria

• Based on GUJCET or JEE Main rank followed by ACPC counselling. The university has reserved 25% of the seats for All India Category students based on merit in JEE Main. 

Ganpat University offers M.Tech course in a wide array of specializations. Candidates must have passed a B.Tech degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for the M.Tech course admission. The per annum fee for Ganpat University M.Tech is INR 1,10,250. Some of the famous M.Tech specializations at Ganpat University are Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, VLSI System & Design, etc. 

Ganpat University M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Passed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category),

Ganpat University M.Tech Selection Criteria

Admission to the M.Tech program is based on a GATE score followed by ACPC counselling.

Ganpat University offers an MBA in 14 specializations. The preliminary qualification for an MBA is that a candidate should have a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The fee for an MBA ranges from INR 95,000 – INR 1,02,500 per annum depending upon the specialization chosen. The selection will be based on ACPC counselling. 

Ganpat University MBA Eligibility Criteria

Passed 3-year Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) obtained in qualifying examination.

Ganpat University MBA Selection Criteria

Admission is based on merit in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GUJCET followed by ACPC counselling. 

Ganpat University offers various undergraduate courses like B.Des, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Arch, B.Com, etc. Admission to B.Arch will be done through counselling conducted by ACPC based on the candidate’s score in NATA. Candidates applying for admission to B.Des must appear for the Ganpat University Design Aptitude Test (GNUDAT). For all other courses, merit in Class XII exams is considered. 

Ganpat University B.Des/ B.Sc/ BBA/ BCA/ B.Arch/ B.Com Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Des, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
• For B.Sc courses, candidates must have qualified 10+2 examination with Science stream or equivalent examination from a recognized board. 
• Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination in Science or General stream with English as one of the subjects from any recognized Board can join the BBA (Hons.) program.
• For BCA admissions, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination in any stream with English as one of the subjects from a recognized board. The students who have passed the Diploma in (Computer Engineering/ Information Technology Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 45% marks in the General category and 40% in the reserved category) can get the admission in 3rd semester of BCA directly.
• For B.Arch, candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in each subject.
• To apply for B.Com, candidates need to pass 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject

Ganpat University B.Des/ B.Sc/ BBA/ BCA/ B.Arch/ B.Com Selection Criteria

• Candidates applying for admission to B.Des must appear for the Ganpat University Design Aptitude Test (GNUDAT).
• Admission to B.Sc, BBA and BCA is merit-based.
• For B.Arch, candidates will be selected through counselling conducted by ACPC based on the candidate’s score in NATA.

Ganpat University offers PG Degrees in a spectrum of disciplines of Science, Commerce, Social Work, Arts and Computer Applications. Admission to Ganpat University MCA, M.Sc, MSW, and M.Com courses are based on a merit list as per the candidate’s score in the qualifying examination.

Ganpat University MCA/ M.Sc/ MSW/ M.Pharm/ M.Com Eligibility Criteria

• For MCA, candidates must have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree OR Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
• For M.Sc. candidates must have passed B.Sc in Basic/Allied Sciences Or an equivalent examination from a recognized university.
• Candidates must have a recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration for MSW admission.
• To apply for M.Pharm, candidates must have passed B.Pharm from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
• Any student who has passed B.Com from any recognized University/Institute can join the M.Com (Financial Analyst) program at Ganpat University.

Ganpat University MCA/ M.Sc/ MSW/ M.Pharm/ M.Com Selection Criteria

• Admission to MCA, M.Sc, MSW and M.Com is merit-based.
• For M.Pharm, candidates must have qualified GPAT followed by ACPC counselling. 

Ganpat University offers Ph.D in both online and offline modes. Candidates who have completed a master’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate can apply for the course in their preferred specialization. The selection will be based on merit in the Ph.D. entrance exam conducted by the university followed by an interview. The per annum fee for Ganpat University Ph.D. is INR 80,000. 

Ganpat University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates who have completed a 2-year master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have completed a 1-year master's degree programme after a 4-year bachelor’s degree programme with at least 75% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
• A candidate who wishes to pursue interdisciplinary research shall also be considered.
• Candidates who have completed M.Phil with at least 55% marks in aggregate can also apply for the Ph.D. course.

Note: A relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other reserved categories.

Ganpat University Ph.D. Selection Criteria 

Admission to Ph.D. program will be granted based on the Entrance exam conducted by the university followed by an interview. The entrance exam is of 2-hour duration conducted offline at the Ganpat University campus only. There will be two sections in the exam: Research Methodology and Subject Specific Questions. 

The university will conduct a personal interview for those candidates who will qualify for the entrance test.

• Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in the Entrance Test will be eligible for a Personal Interview.
• Relaxation of 5% Marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be given for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layers) Differently-abled category. (Proof of Category is essential)
• The detailed schedule for the personal interview will be made available on the Ganpat University website after the declaration of the entrance test result.
