ILBS Admission offers PDCC, PGCC, PhD, M.Ch and Short Certification programmes to students. The institute offers admission to various courses based on an entrance examination. Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences was established in 2009 is an autonomous college approved by UGC India. The Institute offers a Certificate course in Nephrology and Critical Care of 6 months each. ILBS New Dehli offers a full-time course in M.Ch and DNB courses in various specializations. The selection is based on merit in the qualifying entrance examination.

ILBS New Delhi PhD Eligibility Criteria 

  • PhD in Biomedical Sciences/ Clinical Nutrition: Candidate must have completed M.Sc./MBBS/DNB/MS/MD. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in M.Sc. and 55% marks in MBBS.
  • PhD in Epidemiology of Viral Hepatitis and Liver Diseases: Candidate must have completed BAMS/MBBS or BHMS or PG in Biomedical Science. ​

ILBS New Delhi PhD Selection Criteria

The selection for PhD programme is made through performance evaluation in 2 stages:

Stage 1: Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility will be called for a written qualifying test which will conduct in New Delhi and it will be a simple General Aptitude Test.

Stage 2: The candidates who will get shortlisted will be invited for an interview round in the Institute. 100 will be the total marks that will be distributed as:

  • The candidate who has cleared the exam of NET as well as has a legal JRF fellowship- 30 marks
  • Candidates with previous research experience of 6 months minimum- 20 marks
  • 10 minutes Research Presentation- 10 marks
  • Communication with faculty along with interview- 40 marks

Ques. Does the ILBS provide hostel facilities to students?

Ans. Yes, ILBS has spacious hostel rooms with enough light facilities inside the campus. All rooms are fully furnished with all the necessary things. On every floor, there are washing machines, televisions, refrigerators and so on. In addition to this, pest control, cleaning service, and maintenance facility are also there.
