Telangana University Admission 2024: PG Admissions, Eligibility, Application process
Telangana University was established in the year 2006. Telangana University has three campuses to its credit namely Main Campus at Dichpally, South Campus at Bikhnoor and a third campus at Sarangpur. The University was initially launched with only six courses and today it offers a total of twenty-six courses. Along with it the University also offers Ph.D. courses in thirteen disciplines.
It provides UG courses like BCA, LLB and B. Ed in respective faculties of Computer Science, Law and Education. In PG courses, the University offers masters degree in Arts, Commerce, Science, Social Science, and Computer Science. In every course, 85% of the seats are reserved for the local candidates from the districts of Nizamabad and Adilabad. Admissions in various courses are given on the basis of the performance of the candidate in Common Entrance Test.
Telangana University B.Ed Admission 2024
Telangana University provides B. Ed in respective faculties of Computer Science, Law and Education. The admission is based on performance in TS EDCET. The merit list is prepared on basis of rank secured by students in the entrance exam. The details of entrance exam are described below:
TS EDCET Question paper for Examination consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions. The paper is Computer Based (CBT) and time allotted for the exam is two hours. The paper is divided into 3 parts:
Part 1 ( common for all)
English 25 questions for 25 marks.
Part 2( common for all)
General Knowledge 15 questions for 15 marks
Teaching Aptitude 10 questions for 10 marks.
Part 3
This part deals with paper of respective subjects chosen by the candidate.
- Social studies: 100 questions for 100 marks (Geography-35, History-30 civics-15, Economics-20)
- Physical science: 100 questions for 100 marks (physics -50 chemistry-50)
- Mathematics: 100 questions for 100 marks.
- English 100 questions for 100 marks.
Candidates must keep the following facts in mind before applying for entrance test:
- Candidates should have passed / appearing for final year examination of B.A / B.Sc / B.Sc Home science / B.Com / B.C.A / B.B.M.
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in case of general category ( 40% marks for in case of SC / ST / BC / PH) either in the Master Degree in relevant subject or 5 years Integrated course in the relevant subject.
- Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examination of B.E / B.tech with Science / Mathematics as one of the subject and candidates should secure a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued.
NOTE: The candidates who have passed M.B.B.S / B.D.S / B.A.M.S / B.L / L.L.B / B.A (Languages) / B.O.L etc are not eligible for admission into B.Ed course.
Telangana University MBA and MCA Admission 2024
For admission into these MBA and MCA, TS ICET Exam is conducted by the Kakatiya University, Warangal. The merit list is prepared on basis of rank secured by the student in the entrance exam. Counseling for the selected candidates is done in the month of July. The details of TS ICET Exam is given below:

The candidates appearing in the final year of degree examination are also eligible to appear in the ICET Examination. Students need to keep in mind following eligibility criteria before appearing for entrance exam:
For MBA Course: Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in not less than three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent, with minimum 50% marks & Mathematics as one of the subjects in SSC Level.
For MCA Course: Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics subject at 10+2 level.
Telangana University Law Admission 2024
Telangana University provides UG and PG courses in the domain of law. The admission is conducted through entrance exam at both UG and PG level. TS LAW CET is conducted at UG level and PGLCET is conducted at PG level The merit list is prepared on basis of rank secured by the student in the entrance exam.

Students must consider following eligibility criteria before applying for TS LAW CET and PGCLET:
TS LAWCET
- Applicants should have the domicile of Telangana with Indian Nationality.
- For LLB course applicants should have at least 45% (40% in case of SC/ST) in their Bachelor’s degree from recognized board/University.
- Applicants who are appearing for qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- Age limit should be 30 years for the applicants who wants join in 3 years L.L.B program.
PGCLET
- The candidate should be an Indian National and should satisfy Local/Unreserved status requirement
- Candidates holding LL.B./B.L. 3 / 5-year degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also eligible.
Telangana University Application Process
- Applicants, who fulfill the eligibility criteria for entrance test, can only apply through online mode from the official website.
- The registration process consists of two stages, in the first stage, the applicants are required to fill in the online application form while in the second stage the candidates have to pay the application fees.
- Candidates shall take a printout of the application and store it for future reference.

- the quality of equipment the students get there such as labs, library, computers etc.
- The teaching methods of lectures is very good. The lectures take very much importance of each student. The mentorship program of the college is very effective for the students
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is very old in rainy seasons some parts of college leaks water and in some parts the water fills in ground making it unable to walk within the campus.
- Although the Lectures are good but other than them the other staff such as examination department, academic department, fee and scholarship section etc are not so cooperative and friendly with the students
Admission:
The eligibility for this course is Any Bachelor's degree from a govt recognised university. There are two types of admission: 1)Spot admission 2) Reservation seat through CPGET It's nothing but a person holding a Bachelor's degree can take admission directly from the admission branch within the campus and also these students have to pay full course fee to the college itself. Reservation students get a seat via taking a exam after their bachelor degree the exam is known as CPGET which is made by USMANIYA UNIVERSITY Of Hyderabad in which we have to apply for desired course and give a exam then we will get a rank card then we have to select the desired college for admission. After some time students get acknowledgement letter of seat confirmation in that college. Then the students have to go the college and take admission by submitting all the required documents. Then they have to apply for scholarship through EPASS.There will be no fee.

- I like computer lab mostly in my college which i have developed my skills by spending more time in the lab.

- Nothing to be disliked but its better to expand the college building

The eligibility for this was who completed is graduation will be eligible. The application form and fee and application dates all data will be there in the college. There is no reservation benefits.

- I like to participate in games and sports meet competitions. I liked to volley ball in the competition I like to play volley ball much. And I like to participate in 200 meters running competition.
- Campus infrastructure was good and campus hostel is offer seats for about 150 members.
Dislikes
- I dislike maintainence of bathroom because bathroom are ugly and dirty
- I dislike the ground because the place was so small and we can't play 3 to 4 games at a time

I have been CBSE Syallbus in my 12th standard I have applied my application From the official website of telengana University. They charged me upto 1000 rupees as application fees. Application process taken upto 15 days. I have prepared for entrance exam from 90 days before conducting the exam. It was so difficult to me to prepare for exam in short time.We have to enquiry about application process with the teaching staff in the university for getting clarity about the application process

The application fee for the degree Bsc Biotechnology is 30000 per annum and application starts on 15th June and ends on 15th July. The fee must be low and available for all category's students.

Yeah, I have written the exam of CPGET and got 113 ranks. The application fee is 650 for SC ST candidates. Reservation benefits are we get a scholarship as well as 7000 will be the hostel fee for others it's 12000.

Telangana University has not released the exam paper pattern on its official website or in any other online mode. However, you can contact directly to the university for exam paper pattern by visiting in offline mode.
