IIPH Gandhinagar offers full-time PhD of 3 to 6 years, and part-time PhD of 4 to 8 years. After the document verification, only shortlisted candidates shall be notified of the entrance test. The selection criteria for PhD is mentioned below.

  • Candidates scoring at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved categories) in the entrance test shall be eligible for the interview.
  • For the final selection, a weightage of 70% will be given to the score obtained in the entrance test, and 30% to the interview round.
  • Selected candidates shall be notified accordingly.

Note: Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/UGC- CSIR NET or similar National level tests are exempted from the entrance test. They must directly appear for the interview.
