The Institute offers a full-time 2 Years MPH program. The course aims to provide training in subjects of improvement of Public Health and general health of the population. The total seat intake of the course is 90. 

MPH Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s in any discipline from a recognised university in India or abroad, with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates from medical and paramedical sciences, biological sciences, veterinary sciences, management, social work, engineering, law, commerce, accounting, communication, etc. are eligible to apply.

Note: Relevant work experience in the health and development sector will be an added advantage

The Institute offers a full-time 2 years duration Master of Health Administration program. It is tailored to train administrators in a managerial role and give leadership quality in hospitals both public and private for healthcare solutions. The total seat intake of the course is 60. 

MHA Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in disciplines of medicine & surgery, dentistry, physiotherapy, AYUSH, health & allied paramedical sciences and nursing including biology, biochemistry, zoology, biotechnology, life sciences from a recognized university in India and abroad, with at least 50% marks.

Note: Relevant work experience in health and hospital sector will be an advantage but is not mandatory

M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria:

• For M.Sc. (PHN): Graduates from medical and paramedical background including dentistry, Indian Systems of Medicine, graduates in Veterinary/Nursing Sciences, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or students with graduation degree in basic life science, biotechnology, biochemistry, family and community science, home science (food & nutrition as major subject), dietetics, food science and quality control, food and nutrition, and/or microbiology can apply
• For M.Sc. (HETA): Bachelor's degrees in medicine, economics, health, and allied/Life sciences, medical graduates (MBBS), Dental graduates (BDS), Graduates of AYUSH (BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS), graduates of four-year degree programs in Veterinary/Nursing Sciences, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or students with a graduate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics, Economics.

IIPH Gandhinagar offers a 1-year full-time PGDPHM course. The total seat intake for the course is 35. 

PGDPHM Eligibility Criteria: 

• Students applying for PGDPHM program must have completed graduation or post graduation in pharmacy, health, medicines, nursing or similar degree are eligible to apply.
• Candidates who already have work experience in the health/ development sector are also eligible to apply.

• MBBS Graduates having a 2-Years of work experience after completing Internship or equivalent are eligible to apply for the program.

PhD Eligibility Criteria: 

• To pursue a PhD program, a candidate must possess a Master's degree in the fields of Public Health, Medicines, Social Sciences or equivalent from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.
• SC/ST/ OBC or other reserved categories are offered 5% relaxation. 
• Must have qualified the University entrance test or equivalent.

PhD​ Selection Criteria:

• The scholars are selected based on valid UGC-NET/ SET/ UGC-JRF/ ICAR/ ICMR/ DBT or the Entrance Test conducted by the IIPH Institute itself.
• The final selection of the scholars is based on the Personal Interview round.
