SU Ph.D. Management Admission 2026
Silicon University conducts Ph.D. admissions twice a year - in July and January sessions. Admission is through the Silicon University Admission Test (SUAT), which includes a written examination and/or personal interview. Candidates with valid UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, or CAT scores are exempted from the written test. The January 2026 session admissions have been completed; the next July 2026 session is expected to open around May 2026.

Note: UGC-NET (Management/Commerce), GATE, and CAT qualified candidates are exempted from SUAT. UGC-NET Management paper is the most relevant for this discipline.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold an MBA/M.Com./M.A. (Economics/Sociology/Psychology) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- Candidates with M.Tech./M.E./MCA or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks are also eligible.
- For full-time Ph.D., candidates must be available to pursue research on a full-time basis at the university campus.
Admission Process
- Fill the online application form available at www.silicon.ac.in.
- Upload scanned passport-size photograph and signature.
- Candidates with valid UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE/CAT scores are exempted from the SUAT written test.
- Shortlisted candidates appear for SUAT (written exam: 50% research methodology + 50% subject-specific questions).
- Candidates scoring 50% or above in the written test are called for a personal interview.
- Final selection is based on SUAT rank and personal interview performance.
- Selected candidates complete document verification and pay admission fees.
