Is there scope of scholarship and further studies in NICHE?

Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Educationitself does not provide any scholarship to the students. But there are some private organizations which provide scholarship to the deserving and needy students. Last year, 2 students from Undergraduate and 2 students from Postgraduate got scholarships from private bodies. Apart from this, there are many courses such as M.Sc, M.Com, M.A available for higher studies.

There are lots of clubs and societies made for the welfare of the students. These clubs and societies main aim are to develop the leadership qualities in the students so that in the future they can easily lead the companies. The names of some special clubs are Youth Welfare Club, Consumer Club, Youth Red Cross, Red Ribbon Club, Legal Aid Club, Save Green Club, NICHE Rotary Club, Quiz Club, Parent Teacher Association, etc.

Are students out of state can take admission at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu?

Yes, students who are not the resident of Tamil Nadu are also eligible for admission. The total actual strength offered by the institute is 1234 in UG courses, out of this 26 seats are reserved for the out of State students (both male and female). Also, only 1 seat out of 150 seats is reserved for the non-resident students in PG courses.

What is the average salary package offered to the students atNoorul Islam Centre for Higher Education?

There are many reputed companies visited every year which offers good salary packages to the bright students. Some companies hire students for a Part-time job while most of the companies hire students for full-time employment. The average salary packages range lies between 2, 00, 000 to 4,00,000 for both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Wipro, Wespon, Vdart, Tech Mahindra, etc are the top recruiters.

It’s nice but I don’t like much..I don’t talk to others the quality of social interactions are low for me..and the teaching skills of teachers are very good and mentorship quality of teachers are very very impressive I can’t believe that.
The campus was very peaceful for students.
The campus and learning facilities are very good..

Dislikes

I don’t like some people for over reacting..
Sometimes the security’s behaviour are good
And the hostels foods are not good as much..

The first thing that I like about my college is that was an green campus and for the free space our college has various courses so that our college has a big space and it is very free for students to relax around
The campus was student friendly so we like it
In our campus there was many canteens and books Shop in additional we havw an large library

Dislikes

There was some restriction by our securitys that's the one thing we don't like
We got our freedom in our college but not in the whole campus
The college have to leave students to be friends with other department students

Internships Opportunities:

I have choosen 3 years course which have 6 semester in each semester we have internship in international airports and that was really awesome which help us to understand the things very well which we studied in our classroom

The college provides every kind of facility you need as an engineering student.

Dislikes

If you need to get placed and reach somewhere in life, you have to do it by yourself. The college will only provide when YOU make a move by requesting or something. Don’t expect them to provide everything and spoonfeed you.

Internships Opportunities:

They mainly provide internships with techno park as it is closer to college. Then there are collaborations with ibm and all. They also provide opportunities to work with other colleges. But I don't have much information on this area as a 3rd sem student.

The college situated area is good and gives a positive vibe
The management was supportive and really helpful
The teacher student bond was really good

Dislikes

The curriculum of the course was not at all helpful
The staffs had traditional method rather than new ones
The overall stability of the course was not stable

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester students are eligible for the campus placement.Some of the top companies which had visited were TCS,Tech Mahindra etc.The highest package was 5lpa and lowest was 2.5lpa.Approx 40% of the students were placed.I've planned to study further and take a job accordingly.

Likes

The infrastructure and environment is perfect for learning.This University also has incubation centre which is a very beneficial
The placement companies are absolutely great and the faculties here really mould the students before completing their course.
They often inducts programs and competitions which is a great benefit for us.

Dislikes

The cultural events are not really appreciated much here
Hours they take to complete the syllabus might be long which could be boring
The duration of class hours is too long.

For internships they also prefer within state or other states with stipend of minimum 5000 which depends upen the duration. They also allow the students to Malaysia or mere countries for internships and training purposes.

Well Ventilated class rooms and hitech infrastructure
There airplane hangers are available for practical experience

Dislikes

High Fee structure, you want pay the full fee without any fail
The syllabus are too complicated to study
No books provide from the university we want to prepare the notrs

Internships Opportunities:

Air India Engineering Services Limited offering internship program. There is no stipend during the internship program. various projects are developed like satellites, drones, to over come task in disaster warning, agriculture purpose, surveillance, etc.

Best thing is the campus itself. They are very concert about the hygiene.

Dislikes

Cost of living is too high if you are staying outside. Its very hard to adjust with the food.

Placement Experience:

Campus interview takes place at the end of the 7th semester. Students who have cleared all the papers before the 7th sem are eligible for campus interview. Companies like Amazon, wipro, and hcl, will be there for placements. We have to apply to the placement cell before the interview. The companies will offer a salary range between 15000 and 20000. 40% of the students will get placed each year. I have planned to do Nebosh IGC and wanted to work in the safety sector.

Campus environment is good and very pleasent
Staffs are guiding very well not only in studies.
Liked lots of culturals and events are happening

Dislikes

Fees is quit high according to other colleges
Overall the college is good at events and studies
Lack of good teaching skills for the staffs.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester itself, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package I have seen in placements was 2,50,000LPA, companies like HCL and other companies are coming for placements. Almost 50% of students were selected for companies.
