DIT University has encountered difficulties in retaining top faculty, partly due to management issues. In the UX/UI course, students are assessed through two primary evaluations: an internal jury which is important for initial impressions, and an external jury made up of professionals or academics from outside the university who evaluate the students' work over the semester and assign credits.
The annual fee for students with a domicile from Uttarakhand is 160,000 INR, amounting to 640,000 INR over four years. For students without a domicile, the total fee for four years is 800,000 INR. The university offers scholarships, including the Girl Child Scholarship and the Sports Merit Scholarship, to assist students financially.
