SCHOLARSHIP POLICY (2025-26):
DIT University always encourages scholarly aptitude and merit in students. In order to facilitate scholarship among students towards their academic excellence, following scholarships are awarded by the University to Meritorious students:
(A) MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIP
Applicable to: UG Programmes 1. For First Year Merit Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in identified subjects at the time of admission and is applicable on the Tuition fee only. Details are given in Annexure-1.
2. For Subsequent/Continuing Years Based on the CGPA obtained after each completed year of study, top 10% of the students in each UG programme shall be eligible for merit scholarship applicable on the Tuition fee of respective year of study as per the following details:
a. Scholarship will be awarded to the top 10% of total students who appeared in final term examination.
b. Scholarship will be awarded to the students’ subject to clearing all papers in single attempt without any back paper, UFM and Indiscipline case.
c. A merit-based scholarship will not be applicable or awarded if the student has passed any courses through repeat attempts during the preceding semesters or trimesters.
d. Merit Scholarship is applicable only if the student is not falling under academic progression and counselling board (APCB) with any of the category such as (a) or (b) or (c) or any combination of (abc) as above.
e. Continuous Merit Scholarship shall be discontinued if the student has availed semester/year break/re-admission. Further he/she will not be eligible for any merit Scholarship throughout the program.
f. Continuing Merit Scholarship will be granted in the Even/Odd Semester/Trimester of succeeding session. Scholarships will be awarded only if the results are available prior to registration; if not, it will be awarded in next semester.
Scholarship Matrix To continue the above scholarship, the student should have maintained a CGPA of 6 and above every year, without any back paper, UFM and Indiscipline case.
