Admission to KLE Tech is mainly through the centralized counselling process based on scores from state and national-level entrance exams. The university does not conduct its own separate entrance test for flagship courses like BE.

Admission Process

• Step 1: Register for Entrance Exam: Candidates must register for the relevant entrance exam (e.g., KCET, COMEDK UGET, Karnataka PGCET, NATA) on the official website of the conducting authority.
• Step 2: Appear for Exam & Get Rank: Appear for the chosen entrance test and secure a valid rank. The results and rank cards are published on the respective official websites.
• Step 3: Participate in Counselling: Register for the online centralized counselling process conducted by the authorities (KEA for KCET/PGCET, COMEDK for UGET). During counselling, you will need to fill in your choice of colleges and courses, with KLE Tech as one of your preferences.
• Step 4: Seat Allotment: Based on your rank, reservation category, and choices filled, a seat will be allotted. You must download the seat allotment letter if you are assigned a seat at KLE Tech.
• Step 5: Report to KLE Tech: Finally, report to the KLE Technological University campus in Hubballi on the specified dates with the allotment letter and all required documents to confirm your admission and pay the fees.

Application Form Fee

The application fee is paid during the registration for the respective entrance examination and not directly to KLE Tech for the application. The fees vary by exam.

• KCET: Approximately INR 500 - 750
• COMEDK UGET: Approximately INR 1,800
• Karnataka PGCET: Approximately INR 650 - 1,000
