KLE Technological University is a private university, located in Hubli, Karnataka. The university was founded in 1948, offering courses in the field of Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Business, Architecture etc, at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. In addition with UG and PG level courses, the university provides research based Ph.D programmes.
The courses offered by the university are : At UG level- B.E, B.Arch and B.E.
- At PG level- M.Tech, M.Sc, M.C.A and M.B.A.
- Research based programme- Ph.D
The university conducts different admission procedures for the different courses.
Undergraduate Admission: KLE Technology University B.Tech Admission is based on entrance exam. Candidate must have any rank in either CET Karnataka or ComedeK or JEE.
KLE Technology University B.Arch Admission is also based on an online test conducted by Council of Architecture (NATA).
Postgraduate Admission: KLE Technology University Admissions in all the PG courses are based on an entrance exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority, Bengaluru.
Ph.D Admission: KLE Technology University Ph.d Admissions is done through Research Entrance Test (RET).
RET may be exempted with the approval of Admission Committee for Research Scholars qualified in UGC-CSIR, JRF, SET/NET or 90 Percentile scorer in GATE in last three years.
KLE Technological University BE and B.Arch Admission 2024
At the undergraduate level the university offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) courses to the interested candidates. B.E is a course of four years whereas B.Arch takes five years to complete its duration. The university also accepts lateral entry in B.E programme, which is a second year entry in B.E and holds three years of duration.
To get admission in B.E programme, candidates need to appear any of the entrance exam given below:
- Karnataka CET (KCET), which is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
- COMEDK UGET, is an entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. To apply for ComedK, the candidates must need to check the official website
- Joint Entrance Test (JEE), which is an all India common engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. To get online application form of JEE entrance at official website
- The candidates seeking admission in B.arch programme have to attend National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

In addition, the university provides two other Master’s level courses, these are Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). MCA is a course of three years, while MBA is of two years.
