Distinctive features of this course

As a Joint Honours degree student you will study both subjects equally offering you a wide choice of options within subjects. You will focus on the close study of texts in original languages and an integrated study of the earth's landscapes, peoples, places and environments, combining the social with the natural sciences. There is a wide variety of specialist topics for you to choose from including the study of extra-biblical texts, or the historical development of Ancient Israel, cultural, health, population and urban geographies; environmental management; oceans, weather and climate; and fluvial, glacial and quaternary environments. It may be possible to spend a semester or year studying abroad as part of this degree programme.
