Manchester Met Science programs
Manchester Met offers a dynamic learning environment where students not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking along with problem-solving skills. There are special departments for Life sciences which focus on Human Physiology, Biomedical Science and Healthcare Science and department of Natural sciences which includes interdisciplinary expertise across biology, chemistry, environmental science and geography.
Students and researchers are based in the new Dalton Building, where they can use specialist laboratories, workshops and equipment for:
- advanced molecular techniques, genomics and transcriptomics
- tissue culture, co-cultures, complex cell models and stem cells
- microscopy and advanced imaging systems and techniques
