How can designers, managers, entrepreneurs and scholars keep pace with the rapidly changing field of digital media and web design? Is it possible to learn skills, approaches and methods that facilitate both current production and the anticipation of future developments in digital media? The MA Digital Media Design provides both the technical and conceptual framework required to succeed in the digital environment of today and tomorrow.
This programme is one of the only MA degrees in the UK to combine professional development and technical skills with academic rigour and scholarly consideration. The philosophy of the programme is that the innovative design and management of digital media must go hand in hand with critical thinking about digital media.
By the end of the course, students will have built connections with companies and industry networks and will have developed project-based portfolios that will greatly facilitate their entry into the job market.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university to get admission to this program.
- Students require a minimum GPA of 3 on a 4.0 scale for the program.
- Students should have a second-class honours degree (2:2) or above in a subject.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Students need to submit minimum GRE exam scores for a better chance of admission.
- Students are reviewed on their individual merits and your professional qualifications and/or relevant work experience will be taken into consideration positively.
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

- Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
- Academic records: The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
- Three Letter of Recommendation: A recommendation letter should include information about the student, their connection with the person they are recommending, why they are qualified, and the specific skills they have.
- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores and Successful applicants typically provide a score in the 50th percentile.
- Transcripts: Official transcripts from all educational institutions students have attended.
