During the BSc Intercalated in International Health from University of Leeds, students develop the critical and analytical skills to assess, implement and evaluate health and healthcare interventions in their future medical careers. The study International Health prepares UK students to act as global ambassadors and leaders in a challenging medical environment.

The research fieldtrip allows student to go to middle or low income countries to conduct their own fieldwork project.

Students are taught and supervised by world leading experts in the field of international health and thus benefit from the latest cutting edge research.

The Intercalated BSc in International Health is taught by staff from the Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development which offers a portfolio of postgraduate programmes in International Health and Development. This benefits BSc students as there are several opportunities to network and study with postgraduate students who are doctors from low and middle income countries.

Facilities

You will have full access the University of Leeds libraries, which include group study areas and spaces for private study. Much of the course material is provided through the Virtual Learning Environment, which can be accessed remotely, as well as on site. IT facilities have recently been updated and lecturers have access to high quality audio-visual equipment. Student support services are available through the course of study via the University's Student Services Centre.
