- This course will give the students an international perspective of the theory and practice of accounting. It focuses on accounting standards and the impact of leading standard-setting authorities.
- The students will investigate the links between different aspects of accounting, finance, management, and strategy, for example:
- financial accounting and reporting
- financial management
- management accounting and corporate governance
- accounting and management
- management and strategy
- They will engage with contemporary debates, applying theory to real-world issues in accounting, finance, management, and strategy, and explore the challenges involved in applying these theories.
