Academic Qualification

  • A-Level (GCE): AAA, including Chemistry or Biology and another science (Mathematics is acceptable).
  • IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma: 37 points overall, including 6, 6, 6 at Higher Level with Chemistry or Biology and another science.
    • Three subjects at Standard Level with an average of grade 6.
    • Biology or Chemistry (if not taken at Higher Level) must be at least Standard Level 6.
  • CBSE/ISC/XII Standard: 85% overall and 85% in three relevant subjects, including Chemistry or Biology and another science
  • Graduate Entry: Minimum 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant life science subject (first degree).
    • Further or higher degrees must meet minimum 2:1 in the first degree.
    • Study within the last 3 years prior to entry is required.
    • Acceptable academic study includes undergraduate, master’s, PhD, or SCQF Level 6 (minimum 24 credits).
    • Open University 30-credit module is acceptable.

Interview
  • Interview Format: Face-to-face: Multi-station interview (6 mins per station + 1 min reading time, 30 sec rotation).
