Academic Qualification

• Requirement for Level-1 (4-Years Study):
  • CBSE/ISC/XII Standard: 65% overall.
  • A-level, GCE: Grade CCC.
  • IB (International Baccalaureate): 28 points, including 5, 5, 4 at higher level.
  • HNC/HND, SQA Higher National: Relevant HNC with B in the Graded Unit.
  • BTEC: Relevant BTEC Extended Diploma with MMM.
  • Higher / Advanced Higher, SQA: Standard BBBC / Widening Access BBCC.
• Requirement for Level-2 (3-Years Study):
  • CBSE/ISC/XII Standard: 80% overall with any essential subjects.
  • A-level, GCE: Grade ABB with Essential Subjects: A-Level in History.
  • IB (International Baccalaureate): 32 points, including 6, 5, 5 at higher level.
  • HNC/HND, SQA Higher National: Relevant HND with BB in the Graded Units.
  • BTEC: Relevant BTEC Extended Diploma with DDM, no essential subjects.
  • Higher / Advanced Higher, SQA: AB at Advanced Higher + BB at Higher with essential subject Advanced Higher History.

NOTE:

• Grade CCC:
  • C in three A-level subjects.
  • Equivalent to an average performance across 3 subjects.
• MMM: Merit, Merit, Merit (MMM) equivalent to an average grade in the BTEC Extended Diploma.
• BBBC: Grades in 4 subjects at Higher level (B, B, B, C).
• BBCC (Widening Access): Same structure but for applicants through widening access pathways.
• Grade ABB with Essential Subjects:
  • A in History (or another essential subject).
  • B, B in 2 other A-level subjects.
• Relevant HND with BB in the Graded Units: Higher National Diploma with BB grades in Graded Units.
• DDM: Distinction, Distinction, Merit (DDM) with no essential subjects required.
• AB at Advanced Higher: A and B in 2 subjects at Advanced Higher Level.

• BB at Higher: B and B in 2 subjects at Higher Level, including Advanced Higher History or another essential subject.

Pre-Sessional English courses.

• If English language requirements are not met and 
• Recieve Conditional offer from the University then, take pre-sessional English courses to fulfill the entry requirements.

• IELTS Academic: Overall 6.0, Writing 6.0, Listening 5.5, Reading 5.5, Speaking 5.5.
• Pearson PTE Academic UKVI: Overall 64, with Minimum: 64 in Writing , 59 in (Listening, Speaking & Reading).
• TOEFL iBT: Overall 80, Writing 19, Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20.
• LanguageCert Academic: Minimum grade 60.
• LanguageCert ESOL for UKVI: Overall B2 minimum: 36 , minimum: 36 in Writing, 33 in (Listening, Reading, Speaking).
• Trinity ISE: ISE II Merit, Writing (Distinction), Listening, Reading, Speaking (Merit).
