Admissions take place on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend you apply as early as possible.
- Master of Science in Compound Semiconductor Electronics at Cardiff University is a 1-year program.
- It is a blended program offered on a full-time basis.
- The program is delivered by the School of Engineering in collaboration with the School of Physics and Astronomy and the Institute for Compound Semiconductors (ICS).
- Students have to complete 180 credits.
- As part of the course, students will undertake a 3-month summer project which will be based either in the School of Engineering, within the ICS, or in placement.
- The mode of the study of the program is face-to-face, distance learning, and blended learning.
- This course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
- The MSc in Compound Semiconductor Electronics is a two-stage program delivered over three semesters (autumn, spring, and summer).
- University will provide computer labs, practical laboratories, and equipment for the entire cohort’s activities during the required modules.
