- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Cardiff University is a 3 years program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- This course is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Energy Institute.
- Students have to successfully complete 120 credits in a year.
- This program provides the opportunity to follow a sandwich year in the industry if they choose the relevant 4-year BEng or 5-year MEng degree option.
- The modules are consist of 10 credits, some are of 20, and the individual project is of 40 credits.
- There are two semesters each year, each semester consisting of 11 teaching weeks, one revision week, and an examination period.
- Students can access designated teaching spaces set up for design and project work, specialist laboratories, and computer suites.
- Teaching is through lectures and tutorials, supplemented by practical laboratory and project-based work.
- All students must complete a 40 credit individual project in year three, for which they are allocated a supervisor from among the teaching staff.
- Students get the opportunity to study abroad at a partner institution for one semester if they choose the relevant MEng (International) degree option.
- About 95% of students get employment and/or further study within six months of graduation.
