  • All modules are difficult regardless of the level of theoretical knowledge. You can choose 5 modules, 3-4 in Michaelmas and 1-2 in Lent terms. Each module builds on the existing undergraduate knowledge of computer science. Do not expect any form of spoon-feeding, as you are expected to work independently and interdependently.
  • The supervisions make the process accessible, as the advice is based on your strengths and performance. Feedback, if timely, is incredibly valuable to improve your work, as it is highly detailed. However, workload can be overwhelming since you are expected to do a lot in a short period of time. Some modules require you to work during winter holidays.
  • Lectures were few, at most 2 hours per week for a subject. But you are also expected to attend seminars once every two weeks. Number of students depends on the chosen module. It can range from as low as 6 to at most 20 students.
  • My cohort had 70 students around the world, out of which only 3 students were from India. And only 2, including myself, did their undergraduate from India.

  • Course was not difficult but very hectic as it was a 1 year MBA. It's fast paced and we had to pre-read a lot of cases before class everyday because the whole MBA lectures are case study based not theory based. There are various activities and assessments involved which make the overall course very practical.
  • As the course is 1 year it's practically not possible to do a part time job but one could still try if they want.
  • The class timings differ each day. There could be 2-3 hours lectures at any slot from 9 am - 6 pm.

Fees

  • The MBA fee is given in two terms, first when you have to confirm your acceptance. You need to pay around 10 lakhs, and the rest you need to pay anytime before the course starts.
  • Monthly expenses in the UK are around 1 lakh rupees per month including rent, food and utilities. Food is provided in colleges but every meal is to be paid separately and is quite expensive but cheaper then other alternatives.

The program offers overall development. It includes literature, Grammer, linguistics and a lot more. The faculties are awesome and teach everything in depth. The faculty to student ratio is around 25.

Fees

The course tuition fees are around £24,000 / year for students outside the UK. Student loans are also available and scholarships can also be availed which can reduce the fees a lot. Events like formal dinners, etc. Cost affordable sums of money.

No industrial or research experience as this is not relevant for law. The syllabus generally is well-updated but the structure itself tends to be more old-fashioned. More emphasis on understanding the theory and basis behind the topic than current real-world application.

One of the best undergraduate law programs in the world. I appreciated the world-class teaching and the professors who were at the leading edge of their subjects.

I think it's good and varied. We have to study two languages, which means there's lots of variety. We focus on all aspects of the language: literature (from all eras), society, grammar, linguistics, etc. I think there's something to offer everyone. I look forward to specialization in later years.

Fees

?9250 a year for UK students, though most people are eligible for a student loan to help them fund the costs. Most people live in college residence and the cost of accommodation varies according to where you stay - usually less than $2000 a term. Events like formal dinners do cost money, though not a lot, usually about $15 for a 3-course meal, which I find very reasonable. May Ball tickets almost always cost over $100 which I think to be extortionate.
