The MSc Medical Microbiology (EuroMasters) combines taught modules with extensive research training, increasing your scientific understanding of medical microbiology whilst developing your critical and analytical skills.

You will study theoretical aspects of medical microbiology which encompass: the biological and pathogenic properties of microbes; their role in health and disease; the reactions of the host to infection; and the scientific basis for the detection, control and antimicrobial treatment of infectious disease.

You will be given the opportunity to work within internationally recognised groups and be taught by leading experts in the field of medical microbiology.
