  • Course syllabus is quite updated to the latest. Advanced Practice semester gave me industrial exposure and the final project gave me research experience (PhD level). Normally 2 classes are scheduled a day (2 hours each), 3 to 4 days a week. Average number of students attending lecture depends upon the module - some modules overlap with other courses and they combine into just one class of around 200 students, whereas the number could be as low as 20 students in a class for particular subjects.

Fees

  • £20,000 is the fee.

  • It was a mix of Both, but it was mostly Self Taught. The Theoretical Part was only when the Lecturers taught us the Concepts and showed us some Presentations. Most of our learning happened while we wrote our Assignments, as we had to Learn everything from Scratch and complete those projects on time. It was kind of difficult to manage studies while handling other things, to be honest.
  • Positive would be the Diverse Students of the Classroom engaging and interacting with each other, discussing new concepts.
  • Negative is It completely depends on how interested you are in getting the most out of the Course. If you're not interested, nobody will even ask or care. You may fail just as easily.
  • When it was seminars, we were 25-50 students, but when it was lectures where common subjects were taught, it was somewhere around 300 - 500 students.
  • If there were 500 students in Class 150 of them were Indians

Fees

  • My Annual Tuition Fee was around 19000 GBP and I had received a Global Student scholarship of 3000 GBP which reduced my tuition fees to 16000 GBP
  • Accommodation cost was around 450 - 600 GBP
  • Personal Expenses like Memberships and Club fees cost me around 100 GBP every month
  • The students are charged yearly, but students have the option to pay in various instalments. I first paid the deposit, which confirms my admission and then paid the whole fees at once with the help of an Education Loan.
  • These costs are on a monthly basis
    • Rent (Other Bills like Power and Water included): - If you're living alone: 450 - 600 GBP
    • But if you're sharing: 300 - 450 GBP
    • Food and Groceries: 200 GBP
    • Transport: 50 - 60 GBP
    • Personal Expenses like Shopping and Leisure : 100 GBP

  • The difficulty level of my academics was high
all the assignments were uniquely created for which you cannot find them online or elsewhere
  • The academics overall were mixed with theoretical and practical, as we had practical sessions also.
  • These practical sessions were divided into 2.
  • 1st lecture where the professor taught us how to perform certain codes and get output practically and the 2nd lecture was to just practice for which there was an assistant professor present to help students.

Fees

  • The Fee's for the university overall was 15,000 GBP.
  • I had paid 6000 GBP as my first year as I received a global scholarship of 3000GBP.
and the 2nd year fee's was 9000 GBP
  • Payment for the same was done yearly by me, but the university had options with 2 EMI's as far as I know from friends
  • During the 1st year, I was living in a shared house with 2 girls. My rent per room was 180 GBP and overall 250GBP monthly expense including bills (excluding groceries)
  • I tried to spend maximum of 100 GBP in groceries and extra expenses (coffee, breakfast, restaurant visits with friends etc) in a month as I started with my part time job in a restaurant.
