If you live in Uzbekistan or Hong Kong, this course is a way to gain a world-class undergraduate degree from a British university without leaving your country. The content of this course is the same as the Sunderland campus-based courseÊBA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (ACCA Exemption).
Financial management is an essential part of any successful business. This course will teach the framework of managing business finances. It can also be the first step to qualification as an accountant.
Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, debates, tutorials, and workshops. You will be encouraged to develop independent study skills. Throughout the course the focus is on innovative learning, by doing and reflecting. You will take part in problem-based learning, where you work within a small team to explore issues or decide how to manage a situation. This helps you to dissect, challenge and debate issues.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Should have completed secondary school certificate or equivalent
- Official transcripts of previous academic institution
- English language requirement criteria fulfillment
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.0 minimum with 5.5 minimum in each component
- CPE: minimum 180
- CAE: minimum 170
- Pearson: 59 with minimum 59 in each section
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Minimum 65% for CBSE and ICSE board students
- Minimum 60% for students of state boards
- Minimum 60% for students with 3 year diploma
