I chose Edinburgh because I have been here before and l love the city. Plus, the university has great resources and a fascinating history. The faculty is renowned and the research put is also great.

Course Curriculum

8

The course is very intensive but rewarding. We are expected to write a dissertation, which gives you plenty of scope to get research experience.

Faculty

9

The faculty-to-student ratio depends on the course and your module. The tutorials are in different batches so you can get more out of your courses there. The faculty is very helpful and responsive to all doubts and queries.

Campus Life

10

The campus infrastructure is exceptional. There are a lot of societies and sports clubs to choose from and the library is great and open 24/7. I was part of the diagnostic society which is a dialectics or debate society but very unique.

Placement

7

The careers service at the university helps a lot of students get employment even if you passed out for years. They are dedicated and you can book an appointment whenever needed.

Accommodation

Off Campus
9

I lived in a private student accommodation. It was a non-en suite flat with individual rooms. The rent I paid was 216 pounds per week. You can apply for uni accommodation, but be quick. Uni accommodation is a lot cheaper than private.

Exams

- My score was IELTS 8.5. I did not need a GRE. I needed a GPA above 8. - Class 10-83.4% Delhi Public School, Pune; Class 12-64%, Namo rims junior college; UG- 8.4/10 Ajeenkya DY Patil university. - Requirements: Yes, I had to submit a CV, LoRs and SoP. You should include your extracurricular and how they impact your interest in your course subject. You should also show your curiosity and openness to learning however you can.

Fees
