- University was really good. It was in the Top 100 universities in the world.
- Quality of education was good. The courses were very practical where we had to brainstorm the solution. The exams were very practical oriented and didn't ask any theoretical questions. The staff was very supportive of all the things.
Dislikes
- I enrolled during the Covid time which didn't give me full exposure to the university facilities. There is no placement system, so I had to search for jobs own my own. There is a lot of competition in job, so it takes a lot of time to find the right job."
Overall experience was really good and it is always worth studying at a top university.
Course Curriculum
The course I chose was Machine Learning and Data Science which has a very high demand especially when the world is moving towards AI.
Exams
I got admission based on my Graduation CGPA : 8.5. But usually it requires IELTS : 7 band. Make sure you include all the work you have done till date. Either it can be your job, internships, volunteer work anything. I had one round of interview after application with a Senior Professor. He asked me why I want to join the course and the university. He asked me questions related to the field I was applying to. Some questions were related to my SOP.
Placement
Mostly all the students got places from my batch that I know of. But, companies don't visit the universities and students have to find jobs own their own which can be very difficult if someone has very less or no experience.
Internship
I did not go for an internship because my course was just for an year and it would be very hard to manage both studies and internship.
Fees
The tuition fees of my program was around 23 lakhs and other accommodation fees. This varies with program and can increase every year or decrease, it totally depends on the university.
Faculty
The faculty was really good and qualified. They focused more on real-world application based projects rather than just theoretical stuff.
Campus Life
Everything was very good and the university has resources in abundance. I was in during the covid time so didn't get to explore the activities but later, I enrolled to gym and swimming etc. which was really good.
Hostel
The accommodation was really nice. There were 5 separate rooms for 5 people in my flat. We have shared kitchen and bathroom which can be a issue sometimes but if the roommates are good, it will be fine. The wifi, electricity, gas and water was free. Wifi had great speed, so anyone will have no complaints with it. My accommodation was a University accommodation which was very close to university (15 minutes walk), so I could also come back late at night from the library and it won't be an issue.
