• Portfolio: Required for most creative programs; digital submission via the applicant portal is accepted for Indian students.

Accepted English proficiency tests for Indian applicants are IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE. 

Indian applicants for postgraduate taught courses can request a Medium of Instruction (MOI) waiver if they hold a UK-equivalent Bachelor’s degree with at least two full years taught in English at a recognised Indian institution. The MOI evidence must be dated within the last three years of the application. UCA also confirms that Indian nationals studying at an Indian institution can use MOI evidence for business-related postgraduate courses; an exemption UCA does not extend to other South Asian applicants.

Applicants who qualify for the MOI waiver do not need to submit an IELTS or TOEFL score. Below-degree pathways (RQF Level 3 or 4 foundation) still require a UKVI Secure English Language Test (IELTS for UKVI or Trinity ISE) regardless of MOI status.

UCA’s undergraduate portfolio spans art, design, media, business, and creative technology. International base tuition is a flat £18,000 (around INR 22.91 Lakhs) for BA/BSc Hons three-year degrees, the four-year Integrated Foundation route, and the BA Top-up. A Professional Practice Year adds £3,490 (around INR 4.44 Lakhs).

Indian applicants can apply through UCAS (undergraduate) or directly through the UCA applicant portal (postgraduate and undergraduate). Direct applications carry no application fee and allow the same equal consideration as UCAS routes.

7. Request CAS and apply for a visa. UCA issues the CAS after deposit clearance. Use the CAS to lodge the Student Route visa application at least six weeks before travel.
