Remarks

One of the best college in Madurai. It is highly competitive to TCE. It has good management. It has good infrastructure. It is 11 km from main bus stand. Easily reachable place. Govt transport facilities are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is based on Anna university. They have good laboratory. They have three internal tests per semester. Exam structure is two semester in a year. College is affiliated to Anna university chennai.

Placement Experience

During my academic period 2004 to 2008 there was lot of opportunities and campus interview in our college. The companies will select the candidates in 6th semester itself. Also dual placement is available for all students. Main companies are wipro, hexaware , Infosys etc.

College Events

It has ECe, EEE, EIE, Mechanical , IT , Computer science courses. Every year the final year batch will conduct the symposium. They will form teams and work for symposium. Also they conduct seminar by calling persons from ToP companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

They have normal feasible and reasonable fees value. But when compared to my senior batch its expensive. During senior period its affiliated to kamaraj university. Because during my period It is affiliated to Anna university. It is feasible. Not that much expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is local management scholarship. Then govt scholarship for SC ST students. At that time there is no first graduation fees reduction. I didn't availed any scholarship. But they help for loan from bank.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are there. They have Mas with superb managing officers. They have indoor stadium and big groud for outdoor games. They take students to tournament. Cricket volley ball and etc.

Hostel Facilities

Nil. No I'm a day scholar. I didn't used hostel. But any students will be from hostel. Hostel is also good with nice foods in mess. It has strict management. It has individual bes rooms. At that time TV is the entertainment, kept in a common hall.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is good. They will be sending all details in our registered mail id. During our period smart phones are there. Basic phone only. So they mainly update in post. SeNior students are helpful in getting jobs outside off campus.

Admission

I applied for ECE and got seat Through entrance examination. Also there is two entrance exams ay that time. One is anna university conducted. Other one is private colleges conducted entrance test. We need to attend both exam.

Faculty

Best faculties with good subject knowledge. They have phd qualification. They are knowledgeable in subject wise. Selection will be based on merit and love taking classes. Minimum M.E. is the qualification.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
