Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very dynamic, I would say. Theory to practical ratio is 35:65, which means more emphasis is paid towards practical learning since students can get hands-on experience with the tools and all the latest technologies. The library was another assisting factor in the quality of teaching that was being imparted there.
Placement Experience
The placement is pretty good at Ranganathan College. There is a placement wing in the college which caters to the placement needs of the students. Some of the frequent recruiters include TCS, cognizant, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, Aqua Group, L&T, Infosys, HGS, etc. Apart from the placement assistance, placement cell also assists in the personality development of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
One year fee during my batch was somewhere around 50K. I availed a concession in the fee because of my 12th marks. Overall the facilities provided are pretty decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers many scholarship opportunities during and admission based on the marks scored in the qualifying marks. Students securing top spots in the university exams also receive monetary grants.
Campus Life
Campus life was pretty awesome in the REC. We use to have a no-stress Thursday. We celebrated many festivals on the college campus and made many friends. I won’t forget my days at Ranganathan College
Admission
I appeared for the TANCET entrance exam organized by Anna University. My admission was done on the basis of common counseling. I applied for the MBA program through online mode, uploaded all the relevant documents and waited for the merit list.
Faculty
The faculty was supportive and offered guidance at each step. Though some of them focussed on wrapping up the syllabus, mostly all of them were very helpful. But overall we had very good terms with our faculty members. They were very accessible and ready to help us with our queries.
