Remarks

Our college actively pushed students maintaining a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. We participated in various activities like tree plantation, yoga day, photography competitions, etc.

Placement Experience

The placement is good in the Ranganathan College. Some of the frequent recruiters include TCS, cognizant, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, Aqua Group, L&T, Infosys, HGS, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One year fee during my batch was somewhere around 60K. I received concession in the fee, because of my 12th marks.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers many scholarship opportunities during and admission based on the marks scored in the qualifying marks. Students securing top spots in the university exams also receive monetary grants.

Campus Life

Campus life was pretty awesome in the REC. We use to have a no stress thursday. We celebrated many festivals in the college campus, and made many friends. I won’t forget my days at the Ranganathan College.

Admission

Admission was on the basis of common counselling. I applied for the Mechanical Engineering program through online mode, uploaded all the relevant documents and waited for the merit list

Faculty

The faculty was supportive and offered their guidance at each step. Though most of them focussed on wrapping up the syllabus. But overall we had very good terms with our faculty members.

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes.As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others.The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other.The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.

Placement Experience:

After the semester of 6. Before sixth semester students create their own resume. 7th semester students are allowed to attend their campus interview placements. Accenture cognizant and wipro are here for the open campus and they offer 15000-20,000 for the freshers . There is 10% of placement in the previous year campus interview.and some students are decided to not attend the campus interview.my plans after getting the degree .I want to become an python developer in the well known company.
