Remarks

Positive: Within the city limits Bike and car is allowed Negative: Higher fee structure No ground to play Higher college timings when compared to others Proper resources of study materials will not be provided

Course Curriculum Overview

3

You will find that u will study from all the other branch subjects when you opt for mechanical engineering. Exam structure is almost similar to that of other branches. Like in all semesters u will have 6 subjects n 3 practicals on an average. Final semester varies.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements when compared to other colleges are better but most of the companies that come for interview are BPO's and they give u some or the other company that u even don't know merely and give the poster as 95% placed. Only a very few are placed in good companies. No they don't provide any such internship or stipend.

College Events

3

Lots of events are conducted but only a few comes into the picture of us. Many events like workshops , cultural events within the college , rotaract events , energy club events , each and every department symposiums.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Really very expensive than I expected. They will charge u for no reason. The tuition fee will be 45k , placement fee was 23k , book fee was 15k and an extra fee of 20k will be collected for no reason. Even after this examination fees and no due fees will be collected separately.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no such scholarship provided to us , the only scholarship that I was able to get was community scholarship and that too also a very small amount. No loan will be offered or availed by the college.

Campus Life

3

If u r interested in sports , plz don't opt for this college , they are not encouraging sports and there is even no ground in the college premises. The only game available in the college is volleyball. The labs are good maintained when compared to other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

No I did not opt for hostel, I was a day scholar , the hostel infrastructure is average and the facilities are also not up to the mark. The fee for hostel is also too high, they will charge around 1.5L separately for a yr if u opt for hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

After you come out of the college, there will be no such network will be there. If u r really close to ur frds and staffs u may be in touch with them alone. They won't provide any alumni events n all.

Admission

Through Anna University counseling. After choosing the college we have to pay a initial amt of 5k at Anna University itself which they will deduct in the college tuition fee. After choosing the college we will be given a certain period of time , within that time limit we have to locate the college and pay the remaining fee for further processes.

Faculty

2

They are well educated , some staffs are very precious and they strive hard to make the concept easy understanding. Some are very lazy faculties , even they feel very difficult to give some notes and these kind of teachers ask us to do self study. Overall the faculties are average. It varies person to person

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.
