Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum is just an average one. You'll be having 2 semesters a year and for each semester you have 2 Internal assessments which is considered 50% of your marks. At the end of each semester you have semester exams which is considered the other 50% marks. You'll have 4-8 subjects per semester depending on the year curriculum and also includes 2 practical lab exams.

Placement Experience

4

This can't be told as a constant one. Because it keeps on altering as per the requirement of the industry. For our batch the placements were massive. But for our previous batch they were terrible. And there are no internships provided in our college far to my knowledge.

College Events

0.5

Please don't expect Events in our college, It feels like my college is against these events. No events happen in our college and they don't allow students to attend the events even if they are any. They also do not allow students to explore other events outside college. Honestly brothers/sisters it's a total mess. You're gonna learn nothing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is way too expensive for the facilities they provide. There are amenities but students must not use them or at least they do not allow to use them. Waste of money for such a college in my opinion. They ask us to pay money for books but again we have to return the books back to them. Then what is the use of paying fees for the books which are anyway not yours.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships offered in our college for the people who are poor and talented. There is a foundation called "AGARAM" found by Actor "SURIYA". They tie up with our college and provide free education to people who are unable to pay the college fees.

Campus Life

3

Forget about the Extracurriculars. There is a small ground in which the students of all the years play all the games. It's a total mess in the ground. There is an indoor court for badminton and basketball which are quite good compared to the ground outdoors. There are labs which are really good looking but there is no matter in them. The equipment keep on failing. It fails even at the time of University Practical Exams. So embarrassing! And disgusting.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes there is a hostel facility and there are hostels for seperate year students. The 1st year hostel is really good in means of infrastructure and games. 2nd 3rd 4th year hostels are too bad. You have to pay money to have drinking water and carry the water can (20L) by yourself to your room which is really disgusting. The warden there behaves as he's the owner of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

To be Honest. There is no alumni network in our college. Leave the alumni they don't even allow us to meet the senior year people. There is no such thing like interaction between juniors and seniors.

Admission

1)There is an entrance exam for it. 2) You have to apply for the exam and contains fees for exam. 3) After giving the attempt, you'll be called to counselling for the selection of your stream. 4) You have to attend the counselling if you are interested to join the college. 5) Pay certain amount as per their requirement to block the seat. 6) Fill the formalities and it's done.

Faculty

1.5

Unworthy of the money we pay. It's a good college but the staff there are not well educated and not at all skilled. There are few lecturers who are the best ones of all time. If you have them as your faculty for your subjects then you're lucky, if not you're doomed. Honestly I never felt anything worthwhile in my 4 years of engineering life.
