Remarks

The overall impression about my college is somewhat positive. Be it academically or infrastructure wise. But the only negative aspect about the college which I would like to point out is that there are no Extra curiccular activities for the Allied Health Sciences students. I hope the college would go through this issue

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Its an Allied Health Sciences course. The syllabus is relaxed when comparing with MBBS/Nursing/Dental. The curicculum in the first year consist of 5 subjects :- 1) Anatomy 2) Physiology 3) Microbiology 4) Pathology 5) Biochemistry The exam is of 80 marks theory having 10,5 and 3 marker questions respectively.

Placement Experience

4

Allied health science are of a great scope in the future. Yes, the college provides internship in its own hospital for a period of 6 months after the course completion of 3 years. The merit certificate will be only provided after successful completion of the 6 month internship program

College Events

3

There are no events celebrated for the allied health science students but there are a few celebrations for MBBS and nursing such as Fresher's Day:- The welcome ceremony for the newly joined batch of students Ethnic Day Days associated with Medical Science

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its slightly on the expensive side as the annual fee for Bsc Allied Health Sciences range from 100000-175000 depending on the course selected. For Bsc Perfusion and Bsc Cardiac Care Technology, the fees amount of 175000.

Campus Life

4

The college has a very well maintained and equipped laboratories for all the various subjects thought. The labs are also meeting the preffered quality standards of the university. Well educated lab technicians are also employed to run the lab

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I have opted to stay outside the campus in a PG. Hostel service is provided to students which is well built and the quality of food is also adequate. But due to strict college regulations, students are not permitted for frequent outings which are very limited

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful both academically as well as a helpful friend in the new city Bangalore. Most of the senior students are also working here in the hospital.

Admission

The first step towards the admission in Vydehi Institute for Allied Health Science is through an Admission entrance test. Those qualified will be selected for interview. The list of students published by the evening.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are highly qualified Doctors having excellent experience in the medical field. Some basic subjects like Pathology are taught by interns. The faculty is very much supportive and if there are any doubts it can be cleared any moment
