INSIDER INFILTRATE - GGCT

The current course curriculum give a foundation learning of basics of computer science and engineering with subjects like Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming and Methodologies, Analysis Of Design Algorithm, Computer Organisation And Architecture, Computer Networking, Operating Systems. The curriculum focused on only the theory but not on the real world applications. There should be practical implementation of the subjects we're studying, lab classes should be provided in adequate amount. Quizzes should be organised every end of week of what we've learned! The timing of exam are good but the study gaps between the exams are non uniform, sometimes the university gives 4-5 days for one exam and sometimes only 2 days for an exam.

Students are eligible for sitting in college placement from the 7th semester. The most common mass requirement are done by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) followed by Jio. In 2024, 159 people are selected by the TCS. The highest package was around 9 lpa and the average package is 3.4 lpa for software engineer profile. 60% students place though college placement. My plan is also to get placed and start my working professional journey.

I'm paying ?60,000 per year as an General Category Student per year. The college fee isn't increasing ever year. The OBC students have to pay ?30,000 per year because of OBC scholarship which is of ?30,000. The SC/ST students have to pay ?0 as their scholarship is higher than the course fees which is approx ?70,000. For general student there is no particular scholarship available in college or university.

The most famous event of Jabalpur is organised here called The GyanUtsav. Then in winters, The winter Breeze is organised, Tourism Day, Bollywood Day and many other festival are also organised. The book are available according to the course curriculum. But no new books will be there of the particular subject. No such technological provisions or facilities available only the basic ones, even the Air Conditioners aren't installed. The sports are managed with proper instructions. Students clubs like Google Developer Clubs, Microsoft Student clubs are good.

I applied to Baderia Global Engineering and Management College, Jabalpur. I applied there due to their free bus facilities, it's nearer to my house and is somewhat a good college around the mahakoshal region. I was late for the admission process that's why I didn't admitted in their. For my college, GGCT., The student should be a student of PCM in 12th and passed with good marks The student have given JEE Main/ Advance That's all.

1 faculty to 60 students. Although the faculty is nicely qualified, but some aren't good at teaching! From my college, GGCT., Prof. Om Singh Parihar, Prof. Vimmi Pandey, Prof. Daljeet Kaur are the best as their way of teaching and interaction with the students are so good! I don't like the non technical/ non teaching staff, I don't know in what bubble they live as the have so much ego and don't have manners to talk. There are around 4 internal exam and 1 final exam. The internal exams are on easy to medium level difficulty, but the main final examination is upto medium to hard level difficulty. If the class of 60 students, 45 students can pass the internal exams but only around 35 students can pass the final exam without any backlog. The course curriculum is somewhat outdated.

No gym available, cafeteria and library is open till 4 PM. I don't live in hostel so can't say about it. But the campus timing is from morning 10:15AM to evening 4 PM. There are no such hangout places available in college, as there are more bouncers which prohibits the students to chill in college campus.
